My brother-in-law, who is 10 years old, has a mother just like you described - except she's done this 4 times......My wife doesn't understand why I won't get out of the car when we go to pick him up from her house. She absolutely sickens me and I'm afraid of what I might say to her since she has totally control over our visitation with him - my father-in-law died a few years back. -Product of a single father upbringing.
