Pain lets me know I'm alive, pain let's me know I'm not some mechanical cold approach robot, that I actually care about the girls I'd approach. It's no different than training at the gym, and doing one more set no matter how much it hurts. To me, the pain is an added bonus to cold approach, instead of the apathetic, slow lurch to depression that is online dating.
