I still think she is faking some of the injuries, or at the very least exaggerating the extent of them. The article claims she collapsed two days after being head-butted, and that's when she found out she had a concussion. My guess is that if her injuries were as bad as she claimed, she would have gotten treatment immediately. Paramedics on scene would have 100% checked her for head trauma. I got off a little bit easier, 6 months of DV classes, alcohol classes because I had 2 small glasses of scotch that night, and no criminal record after I complete it. I plan on fighting for custody later on down the line. As the cherry on top my friend sent me a screenshot of her tinder profile less than a week after this happened, I don't know why I was surprised.

$15 an hour is pretty standard if you're not a contractor. I had full benefits, vacation and PTO. Contractors will make $4k a month sometimes but they don't get any benefits and they don't have the same job security. Landscaping will also pay pretty well if you live in the South, and you can start your own business with a fairly low cost. There are plenty of options for men who don't want to go to college, and I don't want to be in an office all day.

HVAC and welding will basically guarantee you a solid career if you put in the effort and actually learn the trade. If school really isn't your thing you can started as a cable or fiber technician with no experience, just apply for a job. Started out as a cable tech 3 years ago at $15/hr, I make about $50,000 now as a structured cable tech.
