I appreciate your comments. Nice to get a females perspective on here. I’m sure she is under a lot of stress with her work and being pregnant but not sure what I could do to change that. Just seems like no matter how many times I could have said I appreciate her it would not have been enough and I’d still be an ungrateful bastard.

She’ll be fine on her own. We both do well financially and she is very attractive and has people hitting on her all the time. I don’t think it will lead to box wine and cats for her. I’m convinced she’s not bluffing her lawyer is going to be in contact with me to day. Still can’t believe this all went down yesterday morning and shes firing the d train up at full speed. Just a fucking bomb that went off in my face.

I can assure you I do my fair share around the house. Thanks for jumping to that conclusion over one example. I literally do not sit down at all when I’m home from work and on the weekends Im doing stuff around the house and hanging out with the kids the entire time so she can chill. I do agree though that no matter how much I do, she feels like she is doing way more. Could I have given more back rubs and foot massages.. absolutely

Shit I don’t know.. maybe.. I think it’s more of anger management issues. Once she reaches a certain boiling point she just explodes and there is no going calming her down

Thought about telling her sister the story but I really am don’t want to or should have to beg her to stay with me by going that route. As others have pointed out in long run it makes me weak in her eyes and she’ll continue to act out.

I agree. I’m done with the begging shit. I regret I ever did that. She is also 39 weeks pregnant so I’m just going to lay low to avoid stressing her and my baby out. Her explanation was I’m selfish and that she loves me but has lost the connection and just doesn’t think our marriage is going to last. I think she also realizes she’s psychotic at times in front of our kids and doesn’t want them to see that anymore and thinks it’s better for them that we separate, which I disagree with.

She definitely has anger issues. Seems like every 6 months or so she goes bat shit over nothing. The rest of the time is great.. bipolar I think is more frequent than that.

Thanks for sharing man. If I thought she cheated I would not think twice about getting out. You’re right tho, the outburst aren’t just when she is pregnant.

Hoping, but shit she seems full speed ahead with the decision.

Pretty sure she is. I want to fight for my family we have so many great memories and times together but I’m not going to beg her anymore or try to tell her anymore she’s being ridiculously rash in her decision. Not sure what to do besides give it time but time seems fleeting as she seems to be pushing full speed ahead with this decision. I probably posted this in the wrong message board. Nothing but respect for you boys but asking a bunch of recently divorced dudes is probably not the best group…

Yeah.. sorry but that doesn’t sound like my situation at all with three kids and a hormonal pregnant lady wanting to blow up our marriage of 11 years

She’s thrown out the d word in the past in one of her blowouts but this one she’s taken to a whole new level by contacting a divorce attorney and shutting off all communication. Even saying she’s not going to contact me when she goes into labor. If she pulls that and I miss greeting my child into the world i won’t be able to forgive her

Our lives are hectic. Both of us own our own business and work crazy hours while trying to be there for our kids as much as possible. We are both good parents in that way and I don’t blow up my family over what’s more than likely a hormonal irrational blow up. We are certainly not perfect together and butt head’s occasionally. I’ve already begged and she just says talk to my lawyer who I believe already called me tonight..

Never posted on Reddit before but need someone to talk to. My wife is 39 weeks pregnant and we 2 kids already. She went off the rails this morning because I forgot to put a vacuum in her car that she had asked me to do via text late at night Thursday. I forgot to do it over the weekend and was scrambling in the morning to get the kids ready and all I said was couldn’t you have asked me on the weekend instead of the morning rush. She flipped out and called me selfish and then sent me 25 text sayi…

Lawyers also don’t want to lose a good paying customer.
