Correct me if I am wrong but isn't gaining too much weight even more dangerous as opposed to losing some through healthy eating and mild calorie restriction? I am not American and don't live in the USA but I have looked at some advice from American doctors and they actually say that women who are obese during pregnancy should aim to lose weight. Some are recommending diets of 1800 a day so I am following their advice.

I believe we can meet someone who we get along well with, but I don't believe in the phrase 'soulmate'. It just seems very drippy and very sentimental to me.

Good looks certainly help. The majority of women are going to respond more positively to a good looking man if you have a good looking man and a not so good looking man of the same height, income and charisma present in front of them. Then again good looks really help for women, too. Good looking people have lucked out and they have a head start over the rest of us. That's just how it is.

I think smv becomes a big problem when you are not satisfied with someone of similar attractiveness. This goes for both genders. I notice that most older male virgins are that way because they have unrealistic standards. I also notice the same thing about lonely spinsters who complain that there are no good men usually want partners who are above them in smv and nothing else will do.

I used to get very hurt when I was much younger. I think learning to be thick skinned is certainly something that comes with age and experience.

I don't think love is the word. I think making peace and having a good understanding of something would be more correct terminology. Love is an emotional bond created by oxytocin and this is generally reserved for family and friends. You are never going to love strangers or enemies, but you can make peace with things that make you uncomfortable if you understand them enough.

I'm thick skinned. I don't get hurt easily over petty comments, especially from people I don't care about. I am heavily practical. I always bring a rain coat and I rarely lose things. I can laugh, even in uncomfortable situations. I am very intuitive. I am usually right about people's intentions and characteristics even shortly after meeting them. I am very objective. I tend to focus on the facts in a situation rather than how it makes me feel and I am very open to new ideas as long as they make…

I guess if you grew up with glam things then minimalism can seem really daunting. However we are not in the same generation as our parents. Things are harder now if you want to keep up with the Joneses. You just have to do some soul searching and evaluate what is more of a priority to you and what option is more essential for your own happiness. Some women could never live without their manicure, their gym membership , their perfect teeth, their fashionable clothes and their pretty hair, and tha…

You are possibly going to have to make sacrifices in order to be a sahm if that is your first priority. Living in a trailer park is way cheaper than a city apartment or buying a home. Buying yours and your kids clothes in a thrift store, hand me downs, learning to cook with cheap ingredients such as potatoes and legumes, growing your own vegetables, keeping your own hens, doing laundry by hand, forsaking things like hair appointments and manicures and expensive makeup and jewelry. The point is i…

I love epilating. I love the sensation of the hair being pulled out and seeing it all inside the epilator and you can see the root on the end of the hair. For me it's like weeding a garden. For the first 2-3 minutes it hurts, but then the pain stopping endorphins kick in and I barely feel a thing and i just go to town. I do my lower belly, lower back, butt, thighs, armpits, everywhere I grow any hair that is at all visible. I also like how the empty hair follicles tingle after a good epilating s…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
