Does it matter in this discussion, though? Suppose I have strong evidence presented to me from good sources that such a difference exists, intrinsically, between the genders in the realm of basketball. Would I accept that conclusion? Sure. I'm assuming that men and women are roughly similar, and that a variety of factors are potentially affecting the results. But if you have 50 men and 50 women in the room from the same field, and your top 30 were all men, wouldn't it be at least a bit suspicious that no women were in that top 30?
