Unless you’re really good looking and have natural charisma, most men don’t get the chance to date around in their 20s. So they have to work hard and focus on building themselves up e.g. financially and career wise. If they do this and keep in shape and maintain their health, then they reach their peak in their 30s in terms of desirability and market value. Then they get the chance to date the kinds of women they missed out on in their 20s.
