You won’t get anything out of it. You already know she’s trash, so leave her behind.

Among the issues here is that the woman wants custody in addition to not adequately considering all work while the man would be much more likely to consider undesirable work to provide something. This is not uncommon, and a large number of men tolerate undesirable jobs to eat while women stay at home because there isn’t work that they want to perform.

If she’s describing herself as a queen she’s not a winner.

She needs to be fueled by something to lose it. Those divorced women feed on man hate and attention. As soon as they have their next sucker on the hook, they put the weight back on. She doesn’t care enough about him to lose it. Regardless, attraction matters in marriage, and he’s allowed to say goodbye for that alone. Also, he already said she’s lazy. I suspect there’s a lot going on there.

It may not feel like you’re doing the right thing, but you are. Protect those kids. Use this anger for a good workout and wear yourself out.

I don’t know about that. I think there’s been a general trend toward accepting social anxiety or introversion as a way of life. More people seem to be using their lack of comfort as a signal or excuse to just not interact with people. Why would they? Now they can just binge at home or talk in echo chambers filled with fake people online who just agree with them. For years, people have joked about not wanting to be social or wanting to set plans but not actually wanting to do anything. The quaran…

Sounds like she wants to rebound from a party boyfriend to someone who wears a collar to work and associates guys who look like that with wealth

You’re correct. I would offer a mindset change, though. We live a lot of our lives doing unimportant or uninteresting tasks at work, many of which are only required because we are expected to be present for a certain amount of time. Imagine a world where the center of your life is you living the way you want instead of slaving for a corporate overlord. Imagine doing what needs to be done and not sitting at a cubicle or stocking shelves or mopping the same spot for an extra 4 hours to “earn” bene…

Women do not have standards. Everything they say they want is waiverable for the “right” guy.

No matter how you feel about her, this matter will temper the relationship. You don’t deserve a life sentence and neither does she. If you can split amicably, it’s probably the best path forward. Alternatively, you’ll spend the next several years still circling back to this hoping to sort it out again. It’ll never end unless you end it.

That might be the most important thing. A good man survived the court of public opinion. Rejoice!

Just for the political leverage, I agree. There’s no point in arguing that it’s in small doses or not that bad for you. Even if true, the perception isn’t helping your case.

How are you surviving right now? Do you have any money?

Go to the bank and withdraw what you can immediately. Log off right now and do that. Report back when complete.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
