7	As a female, I find it extremely important that we make false rape claims much more criminal than they are now Depending on the jurisdiction and how far you get into the process the typical criminal charges you can see from a false rape allegation would be false reporting and perjury. Both of those charges do carry a minimum prison time, though whether or not the person will be eligible for parole is again dependent upon the jurisdiction.
