I'm not sure why you're being down voted, I think this is valuable advice & I wish I'd heard something like this earlier in my life. There could be a sticking point he doesn't want for the rest of his life, possibly one that a little adjustment on her part could ease. Maybe even showing that she's open to change or curious about HIS needs for marriage -level.commitment would make him more confident proposing.

I end first dates by setting a deadline in advance "I'm looking forward to dinner! I have an early morning so I can't be out late Something like that? Ending dates is awkward, but I pick an end point in advance. Is it when he pats the check? When he walks me to the car? When do you say "I had so much fun. Thank you" & smile That's my "date ender" plus a few more smiles & walking me to my car I figure if a man can't pick up on all these cues then it's not worth my time to train him

I've found it's very ok to say you're nervous. I'm older than you (40) & so probably shouldn't be, but I am. Smile, & ask him questions & LISTEN & remember what he says. I do dumb memory tricks so I remember what he's interested in I had a first date at a craft beer walk at a downtown place & then there was a sculpture place I stopped & told him "hey I know you're gonna like this trust me" It was right up his alley & he was really surprised I paid attention to his interests It's ok to be nervous…

I think you're in the wrong sub. You've hijacked every comment & made it difficult for the OP to get advice she wants. I'll refer you to the sidebar or two x chromosomes or elsewhere

It's not. There's a young lady with an agenda that hasn't read the sidebar

Honey thank you. I tried to respond to her initial comment but I felt I was harsh. You've perfectly said what I wanted to. And I'll piggyback, I'm a a "wifey type" And I've benefited greatly from pink pilled life & following "The Rules" None of my boyfriends, fiances, or my husband have died from missing me (ok probably I wish they had!) Every single one has told me that they love when I show up looking nice. Don't "just be yourself". My lazy self will wear the same pair of pj pants for days & e…

I feel ya! Haha, I am really vigilant about weight gain because I look more "burrito" than "luscious curves" lol

Honestly, one of the points of maximizing your SMV is emphasizing your natural gifts. I'm not very curvy so I emphasize my legs, not my high waist to hip ratio. Or my nice hair. Those with other attributes should make their best features the "star" in their style.

Jennifer Garner would be one with a high SMV that's almost cancelled out by three kids. I actually made a comment today that my standards are v.different for me alone vs me with my 4 kids. I'm 40, I'm pretty fit. Good genes in the face-wrinkle department mean I get id'd for alcohol about half the time (if I drink. I don't much). But I have 4 kids & I'm realistic. If my hubs & I weren't together, I'd basically need a unicorn. You can learn hair & makeup easily from YouTube videos, but being norma…

I imagine so. Honestly? I'm very Christian. And I think as an atheist, you are a unicorn for red pill womanhood. Mmmmmm. A lot of red pill men enjoy the submission aspect of man/woman dynamics. It's rooted in Scripture & I think you've seen that despite your non- religious bent, that it is more comfortable relaxing into your feminine role. I'm not going to preach to you, despite my Baptist-ness. I will tell you that you have very limited options as a professed atheist. Even the most amoral Alpha…

Well. Marriage-focused & designed intent of the separate sexes naturally fall within scriptural principles. Unfortunately, the atheist community is focused on rejecting many of the red pill tenets

Oh and also? The girl.in the picture is the same one who got into a (mostly one-sided) Twitter war against the British ministry of health because of their billboards warning against the high risk of cancer that obese people have.

Not harsh at all. True, and I think actually encouraging for women. Like. How much better does it feel to take control.of your accountability for your physical health? I think it gives overweight women the "tough love" encouragement to make changes for themselves & try to break out of being a false victim.

I see what you mean. I think more - my role has always been the planner/ family- runner. Initially, I decided & informed him. Now I research, put together options, & have him make the final call. I do whatever, but run it by him & ask his opinion instead of unilaterally doing whatever thing: move, vacation, weekend plans whatever. I'm still doing the same stuff but my approach is much different & I don't see p.a. from him anymore. It's better lol

I usually lurk here, so. Aa a former breadwinner-turned-SAHM, I prefer the latter. My take on RPW is more embracing what we can uniquely offer the men we love: companionship, care, sex, & a yang to their yin. I read a quote somewhere that said "a tool isn't demeaned by being used for the purpose it was created" and I try to consider that. I had a hard time stepping back & letting my husband lead, but since I have, we're happier, & I find I don't have to nag or demand for "better treatment" I hop…

Congratulations new momma! There were some Isometric toning excercise that my ob)gyn recommended after my c-sections that I was able to to while nursing. It's been a while, but something you could do while feeding bb might make a difference. :)

I ironed my husband's chef coat for a job interview. We've been married 10 years & he didn't even know I owned an iron. The next morning I get a "good morning my love" text (very unusual). What a great return on 40 minutes of my time :) I kept ironing wrinkles into it...
