When I was 19, I would just go out there and talk to this homeless guy and listen to him every Sunday. This is the issue my father had. My grandfather was gone (either killed or missing, we never found out) right after my father was born, so he never did have a father figure. He told me he had made some bad decisions in raising me because he thought what media showed him was what the real father should be. So although my grandmother was an awesome woman who actually worked hard to raise my father and my aunt, she just couldn't substitute for a proper father figure.

Is there anything you get out of being conscripted? I had to serve 21 months as well (Korea) and was paid 100$/month (yup. Way-below the minimum wage. Happened 4 years ago) and nobody gives you any respect for serving because all men are supposed to serve... lol. So, is Russia treating soldiers like shit as well? If a guy is handsome, by then otjer things will be considered. Think of men's looks as a SAT test. I heard that infant circumcision gives traumatic experience to the child whether or not the child remembers the incident. So the kid becomes prone to violence when he is triggered. It is totally disgusting to see it happen. I live in Korea, and there is still a belief that if you don't get circumcision you are not a real man. The trend had been dying out but past generations still believe it, and continues to circumcise babies.
