The story of how my husband's rapist got pregnant and uses her child to harass him through the legal system - would love advice!Nothing you have said here is based on anything other than your own assumptions. But let me clarify: When he first met her they would drink together and she would pressure him into drinking too much. He told her no whenever he was sober. After that happened once or twice he stopped drinking with her, but she frequently showed up uninvited to his house on random nights hoping to find him drunk. Whenever she showed up and he was sober, she was very quickly kicked to the curb. In this particular in… | /r/MensRights | 27/03/19 07:41 PM

The story of how my husband's rapist got pregnant and uses her child to harass him through the legal system - would love advice! It's in Canada. And you're correct - he's very worried (rightly so, I believe) that he wouldn't be believed if he reported the rape and that she would then turn around and claim that it was HIM who raped HER. He's not really interested in having custody of the child. I mentioned this in another comment, but I think at this point seeing the child would just be a constant reminder of the rape/abuse that he suffered. | /r/MensRights | 27/03/19 01:38 PM
The story of how my husband's rapist got pregnant and uses her child to harass him through the legal system - would love advice! We already have - I mentioned this in another comment, but he insisted on a DNA test before paying her a dime. The kid is his. | /r/MensRights | 27/03/19 01:35 PM
The story of how my husband's rapist got pregnant and uses her child to harass him through the legal system - would love advice!Thank you. He's seen a therapist a few times in the past few years and it's helped a lot. He's not overly interested in custody, which I can understand. I think if I were him I'd only see the child as a reminder of the assault/abuse that I'd suffered, and that would be no good for her either. | /r/MensRights | 26/03/19 09:50 PM
The story of how my husband's rapist got pregnant and uses her child to harass him through the legal system - would love advice! Are you sure the daughter is his? She sounds crazy. Yes, he insisted on a paternity test when she took him to court the first time and it confirmed she's his daughter. Also, I'm in Canada, so our laws are slightly different than America. Thank you for your advice! | /r/MensRights | 26/03/19 09:07 PM
