I don't think it truly ever leads you to dating/hooking up with girls out of your league though. It might open up more opportunities but the end outcome doesn't change. Ironically, this is a common concept in medicine. Changing some variables but the same end outcome.

Are you saying a very attractive male office worker wouldn't be able to date super pretty girls? If you're good looking, you are well ahead of most even if they're wealthy.

Honestly I notice zero difference between when I was 21 and a premed and 31(now) and a physician, who also literally looks rich. The ones who are physically attracted to you will be interested and that ratio doesn't ever change. The ones who aren't will have the same reaction of "wow that's cool, you're smart."

The kind of status you're thinking of is celebrity level/pro athlete. Not a mainstream job.

Socially treat you better yes (by other men). It doesn't actually change your dating prospects. The issue is that men project things they admire (status, money, muscles etc) onto women.

The only place I've seen where career/money helps this much in dating is the internet. In real life, no one seems to remotely care (assuming we're talking about genuine attraction/dating , not sugaring). From one doctor to another, we can admit that it doesn't really change much at all. You attract mostly average looking women if you're also average looking (even if you're tall with muscles).

Definitely not true... A good looking guy with an average job is still way ahead.

I'd be curious to see examples then? I'd say across all the states and western countries I've been in, almost every couple was looksmatched. You can eve go on Instagram and see for yourself. Reasons why you might disagree: 1. Overrating the guy . 2. Under rating the guy. 3. Assuming every male female duo in public is a couple. 4. Not knowing about secret arrangements (he is paying her)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
