I actually wasn't butt hurt. I was just sharing the thoughts that followed my conversation with her. You're right that I shouldn't discuss gender issues with a feminist in the workplace. She does like to complain, but she doesn't do anything about it. She's not the type to complain to HR or something. I've dealt with people like that in the past.

I didn't respond to her because she doesn't listen. I've challenged her on the pay gap myth and education. She tries to ignore me or speak over me. She makes slightly less money than me, so in her mind that is "proof" of the pay gap. I did also ask for more money when I was hired.

I could have sworn I read some article recently that showed data from Okcupid, and that Black men and Asian women were the most desirable by every race. And that the least were Asian men and black women. With everyone else falling in the middle.

I'm all for fat shaming. I think society makes too many excuses for fat people. It's not attractive and more importantly it's bad for your health! By being passive about fatness and pretending "big is beautiful" we are actually hurting people. The younger generations see fat as normal.

If you guys ever have the Time, theres a great documentary out there about Hulk. I was surprised to learn all the shit he went through over the years. I'm not an emotional type, but I wept during it. The dude almost committed suicide over what happened to him with his ex. I feel bad for the guy. On top of that, the man has destroyed his body over the years with wrestling.

Because the women benefit from the lower prices, and it brings them in. The men generally want to go to a club only if there are women there. Most men don't mind paying more to get in if there are women. I agree with the other guys though. Whether or not I agree I don't think that's something government should get involved in. It's just business. I would probably do the same if I owned a club.

I would argue that while is disagree with their policy it is their right to do so. And when people stop eating there because they are racists bastards they will either have to change their business practice or go under. People would speak out against a restaurant doing something like that. The government shouldn't need to step in on something like that. I believe in freedom. Some people still value constitutional rights.

Lol... a private business is owned privately. A public company is traded.... If I open my own convince store in town I'm going to hire whoever I want. A larger public corporation would have a harder time being discriminate. Discrimination doesn't = bigotry either. I agree that it's pretty shitty. However I also think a company should be able to hire whoever they want. If they want to hire young girls to bring in business then they should be able to, it's their business. No one is going to argue that a man should be allowed to work at gentleman's club as a dancer or to hire a woman to a position that doesn't really fit her. Companies want to maintain an image. Sometimes they use cute young girls to attract business.
