I think a lot of the people (myself included) have felt there was something “wrong” with modern dating and weren’t ever quite able to verbalize it properly. This community has kind of taken seemingly unrelated, abstract thoughts and connected them and verbalized them. I felt something was wrong around 2008 when I was with my ex. I said a looong time ago when Facebook and social media was blowing up that social media was going to ruin relationships.. and now, look where we are.

I totally relate to dating fatigue- I think that's largely what has even pushed me into the direction that I even found this movement.
