14 might be the greatest advice I've ever heard... Maxim #14: Whenever you’re at a loss for what to say to a girl you like, imagine you’re a man in bed with three beautiful women. Then say what that man would say.

Some tips: There is almost no reason to ever where black (Unless you are a waiter at work) From the ground up: Move from sneakers to leather shoes. No more New Balance or Nike, no matter how comfy. Start with a leather penny loafer in brown and then try some oxfords. They still look fine with jeans. Look at brands like Alden's and Allen Edmonds. (Shoes are one of the big status indicaters: Shoes, Watch, sunglasses and wrist accessories.) White sock are for the gym. Only. Toss the rest and get na…

The question for me is: Do they want to be treated as people? You can be sexually objectified or respected for your contribution, pick one. Hint: if you want respect you actually must contribute value...

My wife calls this "Achievement by Proxy" She occasionally has flashes of self awareness and brought this up one day over dinner. The basic idea is that when a man in a relationship accomplishes something, the women will somehow "share" it too (We won the award) but when a women accomplishes something the man never identifies it as his (she got the award). She stumbled on this by wondering why she followed males celebraties social media AND THEIR SPOUSES, but did care a bit about females celebri…

Don't repeat something is a lie to yourself "I'm the shit..." Reframe it to a truth "I am more clear, confident, and mentally healthy right now than I have ever been in my entire life..." Cuz if you're here, then it's true...

Actually this is exactly what happened. The female heros died protecting the children they loved and the good men with guns... oh wait, there weren't any there. They showed up 7 minutes later and it ended.

I propose a new term: "women up!". It would used to reminder her of the hard won independence past feminist secured for her... Want a gift? Women up, and buy it yourself! Can't get the lid off, or lift that? Women up! Need to talk? Women up and get a female friend!

How? If she doesn't like the person and I don't like the person we move on. If she doesn't like the person and I do we move on. If she does like the person and I don't we move on. When we both agree that this person can be our councilor, then that's who we go to. This directly contradicts nothing I said earlier.
/r/MensRights17/12/12 01:05 AM

Seems completely fair to me. We both had to agree on the councellor. If we are both in the relationship, the we both get to choose the relationship councellor.

Can only speak to my experience. I rejected 6 counsellors before we found our current one. 5 were female, one male. Our current therapist has been very helpful.
/r/MensRights16/12/12 11:34 PM

Get a new counsellor. Insist on a male. Check credentials and make sure he is qualified. If she wants a female she can get her own personal female counsellor.

What actions did you take to fight back against the system? If you know a quicker way to get us all out of this mess, please share it. Interesting. So for you "the system" is the opponent. that is, until you're denied access from a STEM faculty because your university has to fill half the seats with female asses. True. There are obstacles to achievement. I guess my fear is anything we spend energy on reinforces itself into a legitimate force to be dealt with. So, using your STEM faculty metaphor…

I had a big response here but then I realized that I was trying to justify my opinion by qualifying that I am just as much a victim as you. Which would nullify my overall point. So I'll just say... I'm really sorry about your situation, bro. It's sucks. Stay strong and let us know if you need help.

Are women the enemy?
/r/MensRights09/08/12 08:40 PM

So what are the solutions? Revolt, Expat, or Turtle. Boy that's got me thinking. I would like to think that there would be a way to not acknowledge their blathering because that would give that behavior legitimacy, but just turn around and keep striving. But upon further reflection that does seem to be simply "turtling." Have women turned themselves into our opponent? Why would they want to compete with us, when they could simply join us?

even if all men stopped serving women overnight, feminist women would still hold quite a lot of power I agree. and the subsequent abuse would still need to be dealt with in some way. I guess I'm wondering if bitching and whining like women is the proper action for "dealing with it in some way."
/r/MensRights09/08/12 08:17 PM

Because unlike feminists, the issues we point out are real, men are actually being discriminated against. I agree with this. The question I am asking is: Is complaining about the discrimination of men the proper action to take? Are you suggesting that we should just shut up and take it? That we should keep sacrificing our well-being and dignity so that society can keep benefiting from our work? I don't think we sacrificed our dignity or out well-being when we built this culture and I don't think…

I consider what I've achieved as part as who I am. I believe that most women don't. In my experience, females want to be cherished for being "special" and for being unique. They feel that they should be revered first, and without question. Then you may find "achievements" in their behavior to compliment. I think men instinctively know that their worth is logically tied to what they can accomplish. Then they enjoy the attention and praise they "deserve."
