Where is the bar?!I think more in terms of distribution. The distribution of relationship/attractiveness among men have been stagnant or backsliding relative to women in the past 50 years. This means a lot of men cant reach a level where they have options in terms of sex, relationships and marriage. They may have some options, but they are not good in absolute terms (women who have illness, obesity, poverty or drug addiction). For women its the other way around, they have moved up in quality plus they have the in… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 23/05/22 10:39 AM

Sex In LTRs Mega-ThreadI have low libido too, but its very difficult to meet women who are accepting of this. How did the two of you meet? | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/22 09:18 PM
Sex In LTRs Mega-ThreadThats great! I think when kids are introduced things can change. Also if there is an illness or old age. Lower libido from hormonal changes, menopause or ED in men. Also work stress can take down libido. People talk a lot about womens hormones but men are just as important. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 16/04/22 09:17 PM
How will the dating scene be different in 20 years? All you say is right but... women desire strong masculine men.. by nature. So where does this leave their desires? Won’t these men be the harem keepers I think they will just try to go for those men which they will find sometimes in the trades and sometimes in the upper echelons of society. I think there will be a pattern where women "reuse" these men for reproduction. Its true, these men will get a lot of sex, but not everything as a man is about that. We also crave relationships. Another thing… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 19/12/21 11:40 AM
How will the dating scene be different in 20 years?I know the feeling. I usually get picked apart by my feminist family members and friends. Its not a healthy relationship. I decided to cut them out of my life to protect my mental health. With matriarchy I mean that women dominated my upbrining. Womens perspectives (70s style feminism) and wealthy women who never married controlled the family events etc. Men were more of a background characters. My mom is very dominant, controlling and manipulative. I agree that a society led by women would be l… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/21 06:45 PM
How will the dating scene be different in 20 years? As someone who was raised in a matriarchal family in Northern Europe I can tell you that if my experience is anything to draw from, this future you predict is going to be very abusive but the other way around. Thinking that a women led society is any less abusive than a male led one is delusional. Its just that you don't care about the people who will suffer under it (men). I think its going to look more like Russia with lots of men dying in despair with a female elite looking the other way. Fem… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/21 05:21 PM
How will the dating scene be different in 20 years? As women will gain more influence over society and how things are done, it will cater more to their needs. As someone who grew up in a feminist matriarchal family in Northern Europe and here are some predictions: Sons/boys sexuality will be policed relentlessly. They will be exposed to physical and emotional abuse to purify them from the patriarchy in preventive purpose from a young age. Women will not need to settle down as they have better careers than men. Female led government will extract r… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 18/12/21 05:17 PM
What do you think we should we as a society do with the problem of rising loneliness to not end up like Japan? There are different types of loneliness. Japan has its own social value system which creates rather unique problems. Loneliness happens when people don't fit into the social structures anymore. Social phobia: I did a 12 week group treatment when I was a "hikkikomori" in my late 20s. I had failed at university and isolated more and more. I think for a lot of younger people the solution would be variants of this (CBT/group therapy). | 0 | Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness?I exaggerated a bit, was angry. Education: women dominate, men fall behind Politics: female prime ministers, female cabinet (in finland and soon in sweden too). All the political parties except Media: opinion pieces are mostly written by women about womens issues (this is a Swedish thing) Business: women dominate middle management positions. Men still dominate the CEO roles but more and more ownership is shifting over due to inheritance. | 1 | Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness?Yeah I relocated and could not continue with my previous therapist who great. At my new place I had to go through about 4 therapists until I found someone I liked. Ended up being a female sex therapist of all things. She knew right away what I talked about because she sees "the other side" of these issues in couples therapy often, as well as how womens sexuality works out in the wild (not the idealized version). | 1 | Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness? Its ok, I see a therapist from time to time and I also have various pills I can take. | 3 | Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness? But they also dominate the managerial positions, are those not positions of influence? | 3 | Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness?Agreed. Well I think partially at least. I think the largest group of employees are the basic nurses which earn very little. This kind of job is not very attractive for a guy I think. There are some jobs in municipalities that are attractive though but require higher education. If more men would be higher achieving in academia there would also be more men applying for those jobs. They just speculate, or even worse, they let feminists write and invent what we are feeling and thinking. | 7 | Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness?I see your point. I don't think I'm much of a threat myself though. I have a good job, wealth, intelligence, time and I live in a safe democracy. I'm also white, tall, able bodied etc. I have many privileges and good things going for me. It would make no sense to waste all that for some stupid act of violence. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/11/21 02:04 PM
Q4M: what is your personal happiness level, and why has there been a decline in male happiness? No, he has no reason to as he is in a marriage with two kids. These kind of guys always do well with women: wealthy, slightly narcissistic, clever, ambitious... I'm not like that. They did great before and will do great in the future. I used to try to emulate that but it just... does not work. I'm part of the mediocre class of men. We have no future, other than living on our own and generate tax money for women to have lots of children/careers on their own. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/11/21 06:16 AM

What would the ideal dating world look like?people should be able to talk to a dating coach in the swiping apps. people would go more slowly and not hook up so much. there should be prefilled messages or advice how to reject in the apps people should give more chances to people they are not immediately physically attracted to. men should not be evaluated on money and social status women should not be evaluated on looks alone something like that | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/21 09:34 PM
Qs4W: Do you hold negative perceptions of men with high n-counts?I think it’s one of those things that are exponential. I have a friend who has slept with hundreds of women. I have slept with two, and 3 if you consider none intercourse. It would be more interesting to see how different bands of the spectrum behave and how large they are. Like how many had sex less than once in the past ten years? I bet there are way more men there than women. How many have slept with hundreds of partners? I bet it’s more men there as well. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 30/10/21 09:28 PM

Most men here find this average woman attractive and would date her, most women here do not find this average man attractive and would not date himI think apps are where women feel the most safe to be approached. After me too the other avenues sort of became less acceptable. Unless you do PUA. Add to that how young men are no longer doing college while women do. Basically apps are the only touch point. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/10/21 07:54 PM
Most men here find this average woman attractive and would date her, most women here do not find this average man attractive and would not date himIt’s about 9:1 I think. It’s really hard on younger guys especially and those who have a poor self esteem in general. Then on top of that the messaging that men are bad and then women overtaking men in education etc. it’s really depressing. I’m surprised not more guys are raging incels. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 04/10/21 07:35 PM

Why does it seem there's no good, actual tangible dating advice for women? This goes both ways. I don’t like tests because it’s a bit manipulative and there can be context. | 92 | Most men here find this average woman attractive and would date her, most women here do not find this average man attractive and would not date himI think this is Tinder related resentment. | 6 | Even orgasm gap is more significant than life expectancy gap according to WikipediaIronically this is something that comes up in sex/couples therapy. It’s also touched in the “No More Mr Niceguy” book. Basically some men gets so focused on pleasing their wives every wish that they cant maintain an erection, which makes the guy overcompensate by being even more nice which in turn is a turnoff. So it just spirals out of there. | 1 | Male touch starvation: one thing I don’t think people understand.I ended up buying a sex doll for this purpose. It has a steel frame so I can wrap it’s arms around me if I a hug. Its legal to buy sex where I live but I find it amoral and as someone who has been used myself I don’t like the detached relationship these women have with sex, consensual or not. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 28/09/21 06:22 AM
Male touch starvation: one thing I don’t think people understand.A scientific take on this could be measuring the oxycotin in blood levels. I heard somewhere that ejaculating inside a woman releases 400x more oxycotin compared to pleasing oneself. Things like ”you are not allowed to slap women”, let’s say a woman begs to sleep her on her behind, I can’t do that because of said rule. Another thing would be how after me too approaching women outside dating apps are taboo. But the dynamics of dating apps are crappy for both sides. Kristen Leo’s video here is essentially a 30 minute rant about how men are inherently evil.I watched kost of it and “in reverse” it made a lot of sense. She seems very bitter about the men she has met and her single status and is dressing it up in mockery of short men and an intellectual triade against men. When they run it as a personal or lifestyle project it’s one thing. They don’t have to care about men really. | 4 | The lack of sex and love is bad for mental healthYep, it also uncomfortable for people to admit that there is inequality in sex As it’s in direct conflict with women’s right to bodily autonomy. However I think it should be possible to discuss both and encourage and protect both issues. The key is to always frame men’s lack of sex as a personal health issue, where we should spend health resources to increase men’s sex and relationship appeal. But even that can’t be done as it’s too triggering, mostly to feminists. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 27/09/21 06:51 PM

I have met women who are very unempathic some who are emphatic and a lot who are empathic when there is something for themselves to gain out of it. I’m suspecting that I am bit higher on autism spectrum than the norm but not high enough to warrant a diagnosis. But if I’m depressed or anxious or angry I easily start doing this right away. | 7 | The myth of incels and self-worthThis Is my experience too when lifting these topics, What most incels have in common in my view is a struggle between being a good man vs. being a desirable man. Though feminist want men to be good in general, they want their husbands to be desirable. The gap between a good feminist boy and a desirable man is epic. | 0 | I hate that society thinks the “sexually inexperienced guy being awkward with women” gag is so funny.I think one of the solutions to sexlessness and childlessness among men is to look at sex as a healthy adult expression. A man who cannot achieve it should be treated with the goal of becoming healthy enough to be able to attain it. Not like right now when everyone considers it a form of human geneome purification. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 01/09/21 06:45 PM |
What is the difference between r/mensrights and this sub? They use a lot of shame, guiltrips and other dirty manipulative methids to get men on board. I don’t have many friends visiting me and I have sort of given up on dating. It’s mostly for cuddles which it’s great for. It has insets which makes it as “gross” as a fleshlight. I had a feminist upbringing with lots of sexual shaming and such. I’m not in the mood for a rant but basically it made me super insecure around women and my own sexuality. The quality of therapists and the knowledge they have about dating problems in general for men is very low. Most seem to be a bit older and settled in their relationships and can’t relate really. | 4 | Study: Misogynists Believe They Are Unattractive to WomenI think there are four strains of damaged men that get lumped together: First group is men on autism spectrum. They socialize by rules and patterns and learn them from their main caretaker who is their mom. Mom has no need of son being attractive so guy never learns more than “just be nice”. | 12 | I always keep this saved and ready to copy/paste whenever I encounter a No True Scotsman fallacy with feminism. The decentralized nature of the movement makes it too easy to brush off abusive behaviour as "those are not true feminists like me". It also makes it easy to brush off negative effects of feminism (like increasing childlessness among men who cant compete any more) as "that's not what feminism is about". | 27 | How has feminist shaming/normalized misandry harmed you?I think in three areas: social status, financially and sexually. Growing up with the man bashing and put downs I learned that in this journey that we are on together the role of women is to be ambitious and take up more space while for men it is to shut up and take up less space. Mens sexuality is harmful and dangerous and needs to be contained. We all need to work together to achieve equality. | 2 | How hard is it for you to remain left-leaning?Unrelated anecdote: I have had beer with a group nazis and a group of antifa. Not at the same time though, that would not work. Both crowds creeped me out. The first one because my childhood neighbour fell down that road and the other because I had a friend who hang out in those circles. I think the silence you see after things like #metoo and "why men dont speak up" is one way to react to it. We know for a fact we have been exposed to all these things ourselves to some degree so it feels a bit silly to "admit" to being the perpetrators. As an example, statistically mothers perpetrate more child abuse than men (which makes sense since they do more of child caring). Most of the victims of this are boys. | 9 | I came across this old comment talking about the feminist movement, patriarchy theory, and how reaching back to dictionary definitions is disingenuous at best.I have made the same observation. Many times I feel like women are trying to create what they hate the most (a patriarchy for women). I mean at least in the Nordics the feminist ideologies are hugely influential in public policy making. Until I was 30 all the authority figures in my life were women (managers, teachers, doctors, nurses, mother, sisters, friends) and they all talk about how they are oppressed patriarchy. Very frustrating and depressing environment to grow up in to say the least. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 14/05/21 10:22 AM
Are relationships business transactions?I would say marriage is to some degree. You have to bring substance to the table if you want to make it work with kids etc. Thats just a reality. Then if those resources come in the form of money or time does not matter. Dating, FWB, boyfriends/girlfriends... not so much. I think that should be more loose. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 09/05/21 09:36 AM

Why?I think the sweet spot is somewhere around 28-32 right now, at least for educated people. Thats when these people have built some some starter-nest and its not just "possible prospects" that you evaluate other people for but actual results. | 1 | Is the manosphere inflating young men’s future capabilities?I think the old models for what it took to be a good enough man has crumbled and now we as a society have no idea. Women have had their movement that sort of redefines and gives more paths. The same cannot be said for men. I think the "manosphere" is a good start. There are a lot of snakeoil salesman who try to lure people into buying flavoured tapwater. But I think its great that there is a process in place. | 14 | Why Don't Men Give A Damn?I wouldn't quite use the term "crabs in the bucket" to describe how men interact, but one serious issue that relates to my beginning point about a lack of gender-unity, is that men tend to individualize their problems and complaints and not in a good way. If another man is having a problem, then it's his fault that he got screwed over. He wasn't strong enough, he wasn't fast enough, he wasn't smart enough...you get the picture. | 6 | What do men mean when they say they want sympathy for their dating issues? There are two conflicting messages beamed towards young men. The first is the feminist request where they want men to behave in a way which is "safe" for women. You swap feminism with religion if that is more applicable to your part of the world. Things like greed (money focus), sexual behaviour (hitting on women etc.) and muscular/violent capacity is looked on as dangerous. Things like trauma, attachment issues, trust issues, issues with intimacy and poverty. Those things don't get any easier to fix as we grow older, only harder.
