I became a persona non-grata on my university campus after commenting on a post about Julian Assange where someone called him a rapist. (Back when it was fresh news) I defended the idea of habeus corpus saying it is totally reprehensible to call someone a rapist before there has even been a trial and ended up on the receiving end of a fucking witch hunt. (Except the witches were hunting me.) I learned this lesson the hard way too buddy.

Thank the gods for TRP. A chick I work with clearly tried to use me in some sort of attempt to induce jealousy in another colleague. I would never have noticed this a year ago. Long story short. I work in a secluded area with her and whenever this guy would turn up she would immediately start becoming very touchy feely in her manner and humour. To be honest I just sort of inched away slowly or turned this stuff into a joke. But I feel this is not the best way to go about it. Any better methods?

Yeah, women don't tend to come out looking too good in a lot of mythology. Just take Pandora and Eve as examples. It is interesting though the trouble caused by woman to the world (read men's world) tends to be because of their own naivety and inability to think ahead. It does indeed, Scotland has a culture of brutality and hardcore hazing. I will say Scotland is a very parochial country. Have any higher interest than working, shagging or drinking and you will be considered a weirdo or "up yourself" or showing off by a lot of working class people.
