Actually, while being a dick about it, I'm serious that the only difference I see is one is better designed than the other. What is the difference you're talking about?

I notice that breastcancer.org has hundreds of millions of dollars per year and can afford a better designer. Is there something else to notice?

Men do have reproductive rights, but the options aren't the same as women. You have the right to wear a condom or get a vasectomy and you can't get sued by a woman for that choice. But when you produce a child, you're responsible for that child.

My first thought was to post this on Facebook too. But since I'm currently separated from my wife it will raise much more of a shitstorm than I want to deal with. Best for me to just lay low and not post this for now, unfortunately.

Agree! Go get a real bed with sheets, comforter, pillows, and everything else that goes with it. Even if it is in the same room you sleep in, your daughter deserves a bed when she's got one at mom's house. I know how tough it seems. I had to go get 4 beds when I moved out (for me and 3 kids) and I'm just now getting to other normal furniture like TV stands and necessary kitchen utensils. Your child deserves this if you want to spend time with her.

But what I'm saying is that this isn't really reasonable. Here's a few easy examples. All of these are intentionally simplistic examples with 1 adult and 1 child. 1 box of cereal is $4. But if the kid eats 1/2 and the adult eats 1/2 should the cost be split? A 1 pound bag of rice costs $2. A 10 pound bag of rice costs $6. A 50 pound bag of rice costs $20. A child could realistically eat a pound of rice throughout the month. But can they realistically eat 1/2 of the 50# bag of rice? Should I ther…

Say a person makes $1500 per month from their job. They get $500 per month from child support. Are they legally (or morally) allowed to spend part of their income from their job on a Gucci bag? Maybe if they only made $1500 per month they wouldn't get the bag, but because they bring in $2000 per month they feel that they can afford it. Who are you or the government, to say how a person spends their income that they made at their job? This is completely unrealistic and quite frankly a very bad id…

Also I would have to have primary custody of our child and my wife knows it. You're a complete fool if you believe that. You will not get primary custody or the sole reason that you have a penis. According to the courts, women are always better caregivers. I am the parent she prefers. I am the more patient parent. I am also the parent who has no problem dealing with our child at any given moment for any amount of time regardless of circumstance. Now you're trying to use logic and common sense. T…

Agree. I was a little concerned that people would be "Happy to hear that ..." in the title. Happy isn't the right word there. I think this is a good thing, but yet it doesn't make me "happy".

Damn, so assuming he never paid a single penny (unlikely) then he was obligated to pay over $5,600 per month in child support? Damn.

Just curious, and I don't think I'd ever do this, but what is to stop fathers from using the same tactic to get a restraining order on the mom? It is just as pre-emptive It gets her out of the house, which is the biggest battle in retaining your house. First one to leave, loses the house It puts her on the defensive and potentially limits her resources for fighting back. If she loses her job (like if she works with kids) and is temporarily homeless, she probably won't have the resources to hire …

‘Honey, remember, the more you make love, the more chance there is of a happy accident… Chances are he will get used to it.' ‘If not, having a baby later in life is an especially good idea: you will get alimony pretty much until your pension kicks in.’ - Jerry Hall Wow, just wow.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
