Is it unreasonable that we think it's more of a tragedy that a kid dies than a full grown man?

Why? For the same reason that people here hate female dating strategy and see that place as hateful. Of course this sub has good content occasionally, but the rhetoric is very similar. While FDS is not always saying KAM, how they approach problems, simplify them and blame it on opposite gender is something this sub also does. There is no willingness to create a better world, it is a willingness to find things to complain about without trying find solutions.

You don't think working 14 hours in a spinning jenny is enough responsibility to deserve same wage as a man doing the exact same thing? This is completely unreasonable to you? What responsibility do you want to see for the right to vote? Paying alimony? When you receive a fraction of a males wage?

Women couldn't own property. Women couldn't vote. Women didn't get paid the same for the same work. You don't see these things as inequalities that the early waves of feminism wanted to get rid of? You seriously believe it was solely a question of custody?

But she does make a point. A female raping a male is not the same as a male raping a female. Being raped as a male is psychologically damaging, being raped as a female is both psychologically traumatic but also physically painful. That is what she highlights. I do however have a hard time buying the term "unwanted contact" as that minimizes the problem immensely.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
