Single father's don't have a choice whether the child is born or not. Uhhh... Pretty sure they do. There ain't no virgin single father's out there.

The first time I ever visited FemaleDatingStrategy, I clicked on a random Hot post. In it a woman was complaining that her 2,000 Tinder Likes didn't count for anything because none of those 2,000 men were good enough for her The comments were nothing but high-fives and yass qweens. The rest of the posts were even worse...

OkCupid noticed this officially a decade(?) ago. An empty female profile with one blurry bikini pic will get a lot more messages than a no-pic female profile with an amazing written bio.

I think you've misdiagnosed where the cause of your heartbreak was... It was the kind of men you chose to be with. I don't see how waiting for him to make the first move instead will save you from the pattern repeating. Because won't it just be 95% the same kind of guy as before?

There is such a large disconnect between the woman asking the man out and him 'settling' or being 'low-quality' that I don't even know where to begin...

Then they weren't actually left wing. Or the guys behaved differently in private. Left wing and right wing folks both define different gender roles for people in couples. There's no way to have it both ways.

Online-wise, why would women care if the average man, that they are not attracted to anyway, stopped using dating apps? They wouldn't. Would they even notice? The app developers would notice but judging by how many dating websites have been caught using fake female profiles, I'm sure fake male profiles would suddenly start appearing.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/21 10:47 AM

And I'm just a girl next door. No major flaws but nothing special. Weren't you describing yourself as average? I'm pointing out that for the average guy of whatever specific personality-type, the 'girl next door' meets their definition of an attractive woman.

I think a certain percentage, no idea what number, of FDS are newly traumatized women desperate for a feeling of safety and are looking for any way to recognise and reject the 'bad men" quickly. That Google or someone in a forum points them to FDS is sad.

Asking those women what a 6'2" millionaire actually wants? Fantastic! Asking those women why gender roles are for the guy to follow but not them? Swell! The remaining 50-75% of everything he says? It's called 'dating'. Folks are always judging one another but only have a problem with it when they're on the losing end. That it happens via an app is irrelevant. If you don't like dating apps, join social groups. ...via social apps.

reads abusive relationship on reddit sees one is older omg they're a predator, of course! only an older person would etc etc — reads abusive relationship on reddit both same age see! paying attention to behaviour is all that matters!
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 07:16 PM

Abuse can come from someone older. Abuse can come from someone the same age. Abuse can come from someone younger. But that seems too complicated for some to remember.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 07:13 PM
22

Fact is, some people will never be comfortable an age gap relationship even existing anywhere on this planet. Even if there is no evidence of any abuse and a lot of evidence that they're both happy, some will still see the older as being some 4D chess master ninja of stealth manipulation.

If the guy wants a baby and the woman he is having sex with doesn't, time for him to look into adopting or paying a woman somewhere on planet Earth to be impregnated and carry his child for nine months. A woman's body is hers. Same way if I were having sex with a woman, she gets no say if I have a vasectomy. She can leave the relationship, she gets no say in my body.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/21 07:16 AM
2

I've yet to see any actual manipulation/abuse that wouldn't be identically as bad if both the man and the women were of the same age. Some folks just use age difference as a heuristic to cut corners. And some of those cut corners so bad they sound delirious. Shit, right here on Reddit I've seen folks say a 25-year old woman is just a child and unable to make her own decisions! And I'm reading that thinking fuck, is that person trying to prevent abuse or trying to say all women below 30 shouldn't…

Have you tried....being thin? Seriously, being physically attractive gets you the ability to pick from most men out there who are single. If you choose someone who's bad for you, that something else entirely.

For me, Before I ever stepped foot on a dating website, I had an extremely positive view of women coupled with a rather negative view of men. And I'm a guy. After my first few months of online dating my view of women plummeted while my view of men stayed the same. And I haven't experienced/read anything to change it since. I probably still see women as slightly better than men but that's probably just my attraction to them giving them extra points.

I don’t think women and men will ever get along. For average men/women? I don't think so either. Their gendered needs are too different and incompatible with maybe a 50% overlap in what they both mutually want. There are women and men who are perfect for the opposite gender out there...but of course, they're a minority and are never single due to being snapped up immediately.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/21 11:40 PM

It happens. At an extreme, if you have a supportive childhood and then marry your high school sweetheart who is actually an ideal match for you, you could drift through life giving terrible relationship advice to those around you but be totally unaware of it until you confront the average person's reality. Like on other subs, you'll read of men or women who are newly divorced after being married for maybe ten or fifteen years since age twenty, they go on a dating website for the first time and a…

Alternatively, guys who had no chance would be more likely opt out of productive society. Gotta leave them hope, even very feint or outright false hope, to keep them productive. If all dating apps were as open as OkCupid used to be with their data of how their users' behave, the majority of men would barely use dating apps.

Those men were too triggered and damaged by life to read her list clearly. I'm a guy and usually when a woman is told she has 'unreasonable standards', they mean she's only right-swiping on men far more attractive than her. Also when the woman has no idea how rare her ideal guy actually is, like how many single 6'2" millionaires are there actually in the US right now? A lot fewer than those delusional women believe.

Maybe a fair chunk of women aren't attracted to more masculine, aggressive guys? There's evidence for this. A 'too much of a good thing is a bad thing' situation. I mean too aggressive? It's obvious the average woman sees that as a negative. Some aggression/self-assertion can work wonders on this planet but too much can obviate the very goal the guy may be trying to reach. 5'4" Went from average weight to a BMI of around 20. Was lifting weights/running for around 20 hours a week. There's a science to making an attractive male body, same as there is for a female one. It isn't just lifting any weights or cycling whenever. Women whistled. Women went out of their way to say hello. It was vaguely similar to if I were female and went from average weight to thin.

Well male romantic fiction 'does' exist... It's called pornography. Ladies if you want romantic behaviour from a guy, you'd better look and/or behave like they do in the pornographic picture films. Similar experience back in the day. Got rated in the top 8% on one of those 'hot or not'-type websites. While simultaneously my dating profiles were all ghost towns... /r/PurplePillDebate08/05/21 08:00 AM

According to r/Tinder, women will mass-report weight criteria as offensive and get the profile banned. It's all anecdotal, there's nothing official but I think it's true. I've seen lots of 'Swipe left if you're below whatever height' profiles but one or two 'Swipe left if you weigh whatever' profiles.

Several times, I've had random men come up to me on a public street and be weird and unprovokedly aggressive with me, a male stranger they've never seen or spoken to before or since. Every time it happened, I've been standing with a female friend. Never happened when I'm alone. If you truly are worried about that, you can't change their behaviour directly, only your own. Start lifting weights, train in MMA and let the apes be frightened of you from afar.

It's only the asymmetry that annoys me. It both genders were allowed put height/weight criteria, I would have zero room to complain.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/21 10:01 AM

For reasons, it's acceptable on Tinder(and other apps, I'm sure) to discriminate based on height, not on weight. I'm guessing those guys who copy those women and put the weight stuff down, are reported by women for being 'offensive' and Tinder bans those profiles in response. Maybe if female profiles with height criteria were mass-reported too, things would change... One of the reasons the apps will allow discrimination based on height? They're desperate for women to join.

In fact, in any data I can find the female gender is always the more selective of the two. It just only occasionally matches the 80/20 thing. It's common for the ratio to be as low as 60/40. Ehh, women are more selective and '80/20' sounds more like a mantra people use.

/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/21 12:59 AM
3

OkCupid has put out so much data for us to use! For us to see how people actually behave! I'm reminded of their height/first date one where they asked female profiles how excited they were to go on a date with a male profile they were exchanging messages with, then put those numbers on a graph comparing the woman's optimism against the man's height... ...and well... You can all guess the results.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/21 12:47 AM
11

I like how any dating website that points out this gender attraction difference has to they themselves delete the data later as it hurts their bottom line/profit margin. In interpersonal terms, it reminds me of r/Tinder males who, tired of seeing 'If you are below 6', swipe left' female profiles, will add 'If you above X weight, swipe left' to their own profile...and be banned from Tinder for it.

I read a few speed dating studies years ago. (Heck, maybe it was always the same speed dating study just being re-used over and over again.) In the ones I read it was 66/33. The average male participant said yes to about two-thirds of the women (or it may even as went as low as half) The female participants only said yes to about a third. Same general deal as 80/20 though. Women say No a lot. :P
