Thanks for the info, I didn’t know much of that. My comment was directed more at the choice of doctor. I had a doctor at one point that it would take minimum 2 hrs per visit, without exaggeration. He was the most thorough physician I have ever experienced as a primary care physician. He would write up a full page of heading and subheadings detailing why I was there, the symptoms and diagnosis. He would go back and read his previous notes discussing previous concerns, even if I didn’t bring it up…

Stick with your original doctor, use the time waiting to catch up on e-mails. Don’t treat your health like eating fast food, your not going to the doctor for convenience.

So she is essentially putting your son in the middle just to upset you. My ex wife did the same thing for years. I’m remarried and the stress on our relationship was a nightmare. I was going to court monthly for 5 years. I hate to say it because I know what it means but you have to fight back. You have to take this in front of a magistrate or a judge or whoever you can. You and your partner need to be resolved to the fact that until she is under control, she is going to do whatever she can do o …

They are your step parents, they are grandma and grandpa. She sounds bitter and not too bright. In the states we have what’s called joint custody, it is supposed to stop those type of actions, but it is much easier said than done. What does the law say regarding one sided decisions? Always remember, just because she is irrational, always do what’s best for your son, she may try to make it about you but it is always about him.

I get it, took 8 years of friend of the court and family courts saying the same thing before I went to the AG. At first I just called and spoke with them. Until I filled out the paperwork in extreme detail nothing was done.

I learned a long time ago that anything I say that is against the courts or the system, I am viewed as the disgruntled ex or just having sour grapes. Luckily, I am in the position that I don’t really “need” the child support, I pushed the AG to prosecute for the reason you gave above. Besides that, she has lost everything at this point. She was living off my dime, the kids received way more than just child support when they were with her. Now, she lost custody, alienated the children, moved out …

Once the new AG took over I didn’t expect it to get this far. As far as jail, I would have been tossed away when arrearages were much lower. Once I had missed 3 payments it would have been over. The kicker is, I was paying $2200 a month for our 3 children before she lost custody. She only had to pay $345 a month for all 3. I do get to make a victim impact statement at the sentencing, so that should be fun.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
