Why would any human enter a marriage contract if the relationship was already rocky to begin with? That's bad business and frankly many people are not fit to run a business involved with someone as OP outlined, hence why many marriages fail. Forget kids, like I said if the relationship is already rocky then that's not even a realistic possibility to begin with.

You don't need a contractual partnership agreement to have romance and experience love with someone. Why decide marriage if there's already too much weight between the two consenting adults. A legally binding piece of paper is not a magic wand that fixes these unresolved internal issues that are perforce acted out onto each other.

Extremely well said. More people need to look within and internally realize this when they deliberately choose to have a marriage with someone. It's a partnership for two whole individuals.

Doesn't detract from the fact it still matters.

The term incel has taken on it's own separate meaning from celibate individuals.

That's not hypocritical, if the N count is low then yes it's not being entitled. A woman with a high N count is entitled expecting a man to have a low N count. Imo the same is true for men, a man with a high N count is entitled if they expect a woman to have a low N count.

Remember this is just their personal opinion, but yeah I also think N count applies to us men too, humans in general. Almost anything that can be said against women or men can be applied to the opposite sex, there is usually a common theme that applies to humans in general, circumstances may just differ slightly depending on the sex/gender.

Use whatever labels you want, it's all the same end result, the reason changes very little about the outcome. In your example it could have been for casual sex or multiple LTRs, they still fucked with 20 people at the age of 18. Not sure what point you were trying to make?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/21 07:26 AM

there's a pretty obvious correlation between your number of sex partners and how much casual sex you have. That's a huge logical fallacy considering serial daters and serial monogamists exist. So no, and again, it sounds like your main point is N count matters.

this doesn’t apply to rich and easily verifiably attractive men It still does because you're presenting such a huge double standard. You're likely to call these men low value too because they're not looking to settle down lmao, as if there wasn't more than one way to live life.

What's considered random if you call it a string of "relationships" or FWBs. You wouldn't know what is considered random aside from what he tells you. Sounds like you're basically saying N count matters. Edit: grammar

We all have inherent growth tendencies, even if you don't decide to do anything you're still moving forward. People are capable of change, this orientation extends beyond just dating, but your overall quality of life and how you approach it.

Again, this goes back to having an Impersonal Orientation. The Impersonal Orientation assesses the extent to which a person believes that attaining desired outcomes is beyond his or her control and that achievement is largely a matter of luck or fate. People high on this orientation are likely to be anxious and to feel very ineffective. They have no sense of being able to affect outcomes or cope with demands or changes. They tend to be amotivated and to want things to be as they always were. It'…

If that's how you want to lead your life, that's for you to decide, no one here can decide how you feel for you, at the end of the day that's ultimately still your decision. Edit: Others can only help or influence you, that's about it. Just know it's not the only way to live life.

That's an esteem issue when you do social comparisons with others like that, that would mean to anyone you perceive to be above you is likely to cause feelings of envy, jealously, and resentment. Circumstances do not have to influence how you feel, actions may cause a bodily reaction, but feelings involve the concious experience of those emotional reactions. It's not the actions that determine how you feel, but the judgments you carry for those actions. Having high emotional intelligence benefit…

Would you rather decide how you feel for yourself or give our personal power in how we feel away for others to decide for you? Edit: This would be considered having an impersonal orientation, which sounds like an extremely miserable way to lead ones life: https://selfdeterminationtheory.org/general-causality-orientations-scale/

I'm going to copy and paste my same answer from another post: What's going on: I think this stems a lot from low self-worth, which takes precedence and what moderates our level of self-esteem. You're tying your worth based on your performance, or what you have or don't have, which then causes you to give your ability in how you feel about yourself away for others to decide instead of deciding that yourself. It is a skewed perception. This is why how a person feels towards others is largely deter…

I think it really depends on how they personally perceive those achievements/qualities, I believe it can be noticed by the way they project and carry themselves around others. A person with esteem issues who does social comparisons may feel envious, jealous, or resentment towards those they perceive as above them, and the opposite is also true in that those they perceive to be lower than them will make them feel good and better about themselves. This is overextending our ego onto others, almost …

A person with a weak or high ego have their own set of problems, a balance is key for healthy self-esteem. People with big egos (an inflated sense of self-confidence) are insufferable to deal with, those are the entitled people who treat life transactionally at the expense of others.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/12/21 10:56 PM

That still shouldn't stop a person from giving themselves the same level of care they desire though, how we feel internally for the majority of people is entirely dependent on what the individual decides, whether that be from strength proactively, or more from weakness like in this case. This is low self-esteem, they're esteem issues.

The core principal behind it all relates to increasing our own self-understanding, it takes active guidance (either through our own self-research or with a professional) along with consistent effort over time. The more you understand yourself as a person the better you'll be able to manage your emotions along with controlling your perception of them (feelings). Some practical tips are definitely make having good self-care practices a priority (quality consistent sleep schedule, good nutrition, h…

Are you really sayings a simp is better for a relationship than someone who can treat you like an equal? I guess it depends on the person, but it's not going to last. The simp will think they are missing out and will jump ship as soon as their fixation is over, and someone better comes along.

You were only talking about sexuality, not much else, but okay. If the goal is just sex then sure

So determining someone's league is based on what other people think your attraction is compared to another, that makes zero sense. Attraction only matters if both people find each other sexually attractive. Even with hookups which are more short-term, I don't see how this matters if two people just want to fuck. No wonder so many people get divorced or can't keep a relationship if this is how someone's "league" is determined. I don't see why people play these mind games.

Really this also benefits women too, anyone who wants more security in their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/12/21 02:23 AM

Again, how do you define someone's "league" in the way you're using it here. You said all this stuff without mentioning a definition still. You're talking about sex, how does sex determine someone's league. Emotional intelligence is a big factor when it comes to socioeconomic status, at least to those who earned their spot in life. Since the risks are higher for women that the man leaves them That's no longer the case nowadays with how a lot of women are out earning men. Women don't necessarily …

As for practical life advice, that's something you learn more about through others. Personally that's one reason I love reddit, there are a lot of subreddits with people giving their perspectives. In general regarding the self, I think high emotional intelligence relates to having healthy self-esteem and self-worth levels. To increase both it all has to do wit…

This has nothing to do really with you stopping everything, but maybe you are noticing it more because your attention isn't as divided like it was before. Actually it could also be you are showing more positive traits for yourself and this "energy" or good vibes is having an influence on those who interact with you. Keep up the good energy dude! It's much better for you this way imo than continuing to release it in acitvities that drain it. A lot of men talk about this on r/semenretention, this …

I believe this can cause (for many) a false sense of security temporarily in the time they spend, but that time is then taken away from actual change and more beneficial acitvities outside of digital media. This definitely can cause complacency as real life connections start to fade and disappear too, compounding the effects and making it harder to get out of this loop, and create a good support network again. Online activity was supposed to not create these shallow connections, and instead make…

Seems both sexes are struggling, just humans in general nowadays in terms of happiness. That was an interesting read, what I picked up from it was people are spending more time online, and less time sleeping and less time interacting in-person. Sleep is super important for our overall wellbeing, on top of that online connections are usually more a distraction that does nothing to change our real life situations.

If men were the breadwinners I don't think that's necessarily true for back then. Nowadays there's really no need, plus wages have not kept up with the cost of living, it's almost a necessity for both individuals to be working contributing to household income.

Yes and no, you're going to get a lot of different responses because you didn't define what criteria "out of their league" entails. I find it kind of silly how physical looks is what most people use to consider this when most is a mental state of mind. If two people find each other attractive that's all that matters in that department. Emotional intelligence will be the most important factor that puts many men and women out of another's league. If they can't manage their emotions with themselves…

What is considered out of a person's league? A person's physical looks imo would be on the lowest in terms of considerations, we all age and beauty only works on the naïve. Physical attraction is still a high importance for dating in general though, but that's a topic for another day. Imo a person's work ethic, lifestyles, and emotional intelligence are much bigger factors that would make a person out of another's league. If a person embodies these ideals then they have successfully adopted thes…

Some of these "flags" aren't really any indicator of anything and are more just circumstantial that could have underlying red flags. Only number 3 was a genuine green flag on its own. The common theme for the rest, is just a matter on how high their emotional intelligence is to manage their own emotions with themselves and others.

Also inflation, living wages have not caught up to the cost of living today as it used to be.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/11/21 12:31 AM

Then why do you have a crush on this other guy if you want something long-term.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/21 03:34 AM

You can find someone attractive physically, but know you don't have any emotional feelings for them. That's what a hookup essentially is, but a FWB has a friend aspect that is more long-term instead of short-term. Are you romantically attracted to all your friends? No
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/21 03:29 AM

So is she emotionally cheating on her exclusive partner? Having a crush would imply some kind of infatuation, be it romantically or sexually. Otherwise we can admire someone for who they are like with friends or figures we look up to.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/11/21 03:21 AM

A lot of men are sexually and emotionally starved. On top of that society and everyone else keeps saying how important sexuality is, a lot of people make fun of virgins even for it. That will cause a lot of people to base their worth on how much sex they get, for both men and women.

FDS picks on women who complain too though. Honestly there's no reason to blame other people, that's just life, regardless of a person's sex.

u/gfcheatedwithchad This right here. It should be realized that subreddit has a specific niche game strategy in trying to find a man, basically a man servant to cater to their every whim. A fragile, transactional lifestyle is what they're trying to make someone maintain for them.
