Eh, confidence varies from thing to thing. I'm confident in a lot of things and other things I'm not. I'm confident in my job and my hobby, because I'm good at it and I know it. I don't care to tell people I'm good at what I do. However, when I started out with women it was a rough go. Still is sometimes.

Are you already friends with her on Facebook? Does she share anything interesting, like a TV show? Could be a good conversation starter. If not, you could always do the "wave" thing in messenger and send a hey, how's it going? See if it goes from there. That's not creepy. You didn't say anything creepy at all. If she thinks it's creepy, then fuck her. Ain't worth the time. She's got issues. Tinder and the like could be a good option for you if you're busy a lot.

Ask her out. It really is better than not knowing. Do it before some other dude starts pumping her. If she says no, at least you tried, and you learned a lesson. The friend zone is completely avoidable. As soon as you meet a girl, let her know you wanna date her, not be her friend. Don't let it be the other way around.

Then text her if she wants to come over for movie/dinner/whatever. She'll get the hint. Make the plans.

Unless she insists otherwise, yes pay for the date. I don't think it's a big deal as long as you're not getting used over and over again.

Yeah, I wouldn't tell my family how much I try to get around. I also don't tell them about the slightly illegal activities I participated in when I was younger. I don't tell them how many drugs I've done. I don't tell my family A LOT of things. I tell my friends everything though.

For me, personally, I feel like having a set schedule to eat would be better than just winging it. Something like: Breakfast First snack (10am) Lunch Second snack (2pm) Dinner (7-8pm) Evening snack (10-11 pm)

I think if I started working out religiously and started actually tracking my calories, I could actually put on some weight quickly. One of my biggest things is tracking calories. I don't know how to do it. I'll drink a 1000 calorie shake for breakfast, nothing until lunch, eat a lunch, nothing until dinner, (after working out) then a 400-600 calorie snack before bed. I literally only know how many calories I'm getting from my shake and snack.

That's what I'm trying to do. I'm a pretty slim guy, and have been inconsistently going to the gym for 2ish months. Just hard get food down. I'll start out hot, get halfway through the meal, and start chewing slower and slower. Literally takes me an hour to finish meals because it's difficult to swallow.

On your #2 point, that's very true. I know a guy that's been lifting for 10 years. That motherfucker could probably pick a building up, but you'd never believe it. Dude is strong. He's ate everything in the time he went to the gym. Every type of supplement. I mean everything. He's bigger than he used to be, but... he looks like average Joe. He's not ripped in the slightest. Some guys just can't put on the weight.

Right on. There will always be someone better than you at picking up girls. There will also be people better than you at your hobby, the sport you play, your job, etc. And you'll always be better than someone else. It's all a balance. I'm better at a lot of things than my friends are. They're better at picking up girls than I am. In my opinion, anyone can do anything when they put the time and effort into it. It's all about getting better. Not just at PU, but to everything. Your job, your hobbie…

Yeah, I feel you. I've tried clever lines, funny lines, picking stuff out of their bios, etc, to try and start conversation. It usually never worked. Wanna know what did work? "Hey, how are you?" That opener has gotten me more message backs than anything else. After that, just don't be fucking weird and they usually stick to the convo.

No problem man. I know I sound a little bit like an asshole in the post, but your post reminded me of myself word for word. (not even a few months ago I'd still struggle to even platonically talk to women) It took blunt, harsh words from my friends to help me change. It's a good thing you weren't nervous when she was looking at you. Sounds like you were in the moment, but as soon as you were out of the moment your brain fucked you over. So just go out there and get it done buddy! You're on the r…

Listen man. You should have approached on the bus. Don't set up "plans" because there is not perfect plan and you will talk yourself out of it every time. It'll always be "when X happens, I'll ask her out" or "when her shithead friend leaves, I'll go talk to her" because I've been there, man. And I've been there where I got cold feet, because when the opportunity presents itself, I'd pussy out. You get on the bus, and you forget your plan. You go and ask for her Snapchat. The absolute worst thin…
