For the Commissioner to have made a call like this, at the time the Head of the CPS has also resigned as her reputation lies in tatters, suggests that the true scale of false rape claimants i.e. liars must be huge. The Commissioner is a very talented and capable officer and she wouldn’t have done this without a very firm evidential background. She may be a woman, and a lesbian, but she’s certainly not politically correct.
My OH is a well respected author in the field of gender studies and she lectures at several universities etc. She would wholeheartedly endorse Doris' words here. She has also stated that the main obstacle to women's advancement is other women - but that's a conversation for a another day possibly.
