Alimony and child support happens in separate courts and child support happens second and does not have to honor any previous contracts (because they are supposed to do what is in the best interest of the child, regardless of prenups or whatnot). Tbqh, I would go for alimony and full custody. You’ll probably end up “settling” for exactly what you want.

You can come back from this feeling and be together if you want to be, but in order to not fall into the same traps you keep falling in, you’re going to have to be different. r/theredpill or r/asktrp can help you figure out how to maintain frame and keep a relationship healthy if that’s what you want, but it’s a lot of work.

After your post, I started researching. Would you say it cost $500/ month? Because I would pay twice that to have a fully functioning DH.

Did you notice any pushback from the generally beta tech crowd? Did it help you in rounding up (pun intended) the tubs you have to work with?

I thought this was a Keto post and wanted to say how amazing and hot you look until I realized where I was (“plates” tipped me off). As much as it pains me to complement someone who calls women dishware, your hard work is hot AF. You could probably have as many dishes as you like

This is interesting and likely true.

When my husband and I were having problems, his brother swooped in like nobody’s business. I sort of laughed and made jokes about it to his wife, my best friend, hoping he just had a pervvy sense of humor. It didn’t go well. Needless to say, we worked things out and neither of them are speaking to us.

Nah, they at least will listen without judgement and then point out where you’re fucking stupid. Productivity, right there.

Anyone who has been cheated on can sympathize :/

It’s saying that even if you have a perfect relationship with a perfect man, he still might cheat on you at any time.

I’d say women are actually more likely to cheat, but because they tend to be socialized to be less assertive sexually and more curbed by consequences it seems less. My mom cheated on my dad and he never said anything for nearly two decades. He just divorced her quietly and never explained why. It’s shameful for a man to be cucked. For women, it’s just another way the sisterhood bonds.

It’s fine for women to have these standards. It’s also fine for them to end up childless and alone.

The second. He knew if he cut it off mom would file for custody. (He had already been to jail for picking me up from daycare when she refused to.) It took a year of showing she had not even attempted contact before the courts righted things. When she started paying, all of a sudden our relationship mattered so very much.

My dad got sole custody in the 90s before it was cool. Still had to pay his child support though... to a single woman with no kids. He called it a ransom in installments.

I wonder if women would start accomplishing things if men stopped engaging in bullshit.

It’s about options and leveraging commitment for the best payout. Options = freedom/mobility. Commitment = big gains/losses. By 50 a man will either be at a point where he never has to work again or he is never allowed to stop based on choices he made in the 30-40 years previous. By 50 a woman is either a matriarch or a crack whore based on the choices she made and there’s pretty much nothing in between.

You get there either through loyalty or game-playing. Metaphor checks.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
