It seems most older women want FWB by a large. They want a man to entertain them have sex with them and leave. They are not pickier, they just don’t want a real relationship.

It’s because when women are young they can be lazy and let tons of men cone to her. She doesn’t have to reach out to men. When they are older they just don’t care.

Yes, approach but be more subtle.

People on both sides don’t know what the other side is like. So when one side says the other side is privileged they don’t know any more than the other side knows about them. Talking about another group being privileged is just a form of “sour grapes”.

I think the majority of good women and men become taken in their late 20s and early 30s. By 30 half become married.

But it only takes a low level of interest to meet you and even date you.

Most really handsome men will want to act like looks don’t matter as much because they want to look like they accomplished something on their own and looks are completely the luck of the draw. That is where the bulk of the problem lies. It is not a looks matter or don’t matter issue.

Usually it is the handsome guy says looks don’t matter but rather game matters. That is where it goes off the rails. If people would just be honest and say both matters there wouldn’t be this whole issue we are talking about. Still people would argue to what degree each matters but it would be a much more honest conversation.

Yes. It is well known that people tend to marry people of similar physical attractiveness to themselves. That is just facts.

I think the answer is nuanced. That is why when an attractive guy or a woman tries to downplay looks it get such backlash. If those people actually talked with nuance a whole lot of the backlash would be eliminated. Now, yes, there are those guys that want to use their looks as an excuse. But realistically women do want a good looking guy and if given the choice of two guys close in terms of everything else women will choose the good looking guy. Likewise, few men care only or mostly about looks…

If you hate this arrangement so much why 7 years? Just break it off and find a woman who will fill your desires.

What does energy mean? It sounds like you are using a word when you have no idea of what the real answer is so you just say energy. Define it. What does it really mean?

I think you are generally correct except what you say about the men who get the dance. I think men focused on higher ideals rather than material “down to earth” things are the ones who don’t get the dance. They see the abstract dance but they don’t see the dance steps. They are the visionaries, not the ones focused on the front line tasks. They make the music but aren’t the masters of the dance. This is why so many passionate men are oblivious to the dance the woman is try do with them.

That is an excellent explanation. Thank you for taking the time to explain this!!!!

How do you open. This seems crucial. You have to first get her attention and want to listen to you. This is the hard part. Getting it started.

Of course it depends on what they are looking for. Many want a relationship with a like minded guy but will play with others until they find the one.

I’m 58 on the market again and it is a totally different game. 1) not many available women and certainly can’t find them in real life in my area. 2) Most are divorced and I’m widowed and it’s a huge difference in perspective. I like country dancing and it’s pretty easy to find someone to dance with but as far as dating, probably 1 out of 10 women who are available and looking will bite. Online: probably 1 response out of 15 messages sent. And 1 in 5 of those that text back turn into dates. Of da…

If you want to have sex on the first date, some will but most will probably not. Also they most likely will have sex with someone who shares their values to some degree. If they put Christian/conservative they probably would prefer someone who respects their beliefs, values and perspectives or they would probably not put it on their profile.

That sounds about right to me. That’s what dating apps are like. I use them because I can’t find any women who are available in any of my social circles. It’s easy to get dates. It’s easy to find women to sleep with you. But finding a woman who wants a real relationship is incredibly difficult to do.

This is a bunch of BS disguised as real advice from someone who knows something. It’s just some wanting to spew a bunch of hot air!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
