I'd argue that it would be better to bring men to a more equal level with women rather than take women down. I do agree with the importance of criticizing feminism. I understand your political party analogy. Feminism and men rights have different approaches for the same aim (equal gender rights) much like political parties. The reason people say women don't need it is because feminism has been successful and so redundant. Women still need it because it's what got them to have equal rights.
