It's articles like these that make me want to check my actions around guys. When I feel myself getting too pushy, I have to stop and think how I would feel if the same actions were being directed towards me. I have seen way too many girls be aggressive with guys and assume it's all right because they can handle whatever is thrown their way. Sadly, a lot of people don't understand there is a big difference between child abuse and discipline. Discouraging a kid not to do wrong is not abuse, it's good parenting.

Haha, I didn't think you were downplaying ny femininity at all. Thank you for your suggestions, I already do some of these. Thanks also for the links. I'll definitely be sure to check it out. And as for how I got here, I play an active role in my campus's Young Americans for Liberty (Libertarian club) and we talk about stuff like this all the time. I had an epiphany recently and thought "Hey I'm a redditor, why don't I check to see if there's a subreddit for this." So here I am! Sorry the story …
