She recently cheated on me last year with 5 different guys in a 4 month period. That is pretty extreme conduct for a 19 year old woman. So extreme that my bet is this was not a short window of time in which she did this. My guess is you do not know the true scope of her conduct yet. My guess is she has done more than that, you just don't know about it. I would say, yes, you should dump her immediately and never speak to her again. But you should also use this experience to develop some self-awar…

Me: Come over on friday night Her: Friday erm.. I am going on drink with L So going out for a drink with a coworker takes ALL FRIDAY NIGHT? If she is going to grab one post-work happy hour drink with some coworker who is married, with kids, and otherwise a schlub she is work-friends with, then great. People need other social connections. But that should only last one drink, right? THEN she can be ready to go out with you for the evening. But if she is going out for pretty much all Friday night w…

Why are you getting distracted from your goals and your agenda? I want to talk and basically laying it out like this. Fail. She is a middle-aged, post-wall princess from the sounds of it. You do not chase her. That proposed text is way, way too much. You have options, right? If you have better options than her, act like it. If not, then go make yourself into someone with better options. But don[t try to argue your "qualifications" as to why she should be treating you better. Either she recognize…

Now I found out from a mutual friend that she got pumped and dumped. And immediately she cotacted me via text and said she needs someone to talk to (she needs emotional tampon). I told her ... Total fail, right there. What are you doing even communicating with her in any way? No contact. She is blocked on all media and your phone. You do not respond to any attempt to contact you. If you see her at a party, and she says hi, you walk right by her, with no more than a smile and chin nod in her dire…

"Kind of broke up" sounds like you hamstering away the likelihood she had sex with her ex on a convenient "break up" that lasted a very short duration. I.e., the sort of "break" that permits an entirely non-monogamous person to claim their monogamy is ongoing, because "breaks" don't count. I have no reason to suspect that she's still in contact with him Oh, I think you do, hence your posting here.

I am her beta-bucks. She is 32. She wants to have more security, because that is what they start to gravitate towards. Here you are, at that point, so she opts for it. The one thing you could try is directness. Saying to her that you know she had wild sex with others, and you are just getting the boring duty sex. That is not what you want in a GF, so you are letting her go back to what she finds fun, and you are going to find a woman who actually sees you as her fun sex times too. No hard feelin…

If John lost a scholarship, he has a very good claim against her for damages arising from his tuition payments now made. Moreover, he likely has a claim for other damages arising from his ordeal. In short, if he does not sue, he is a simpering whelp. As a follow on claim, he could go after the college on a gender discrimination claim, because the athletic teams likely do not suspend females alleged to have committed crimes but then cleared without any charges outstanding. Again, in short, if he …

"I seen you checking out that guy earlier." Another way to phrase it is to grin like you DGAF and say "I had enough of seeing you acting like a Tiger Beat 14 year old about that guy in the gym." When she starts to huff and deny, you smile, ignore, and change the topic. Or you just never bother to address it at all, since there is no way to much get ahead by addressing it at all.

She can test that theory by applying for the ability to fight professional boxers men in her weight class, and then doing so, if she can find opponents. If she fails to do that, don't expect me to take her claims seriously.

It's very obvious that both genders are currently at parity They are? Given the outcomes of health, education, incarceration, early death, access to offspring upon separation, and some other factors, I am unsure I would agree with that.

And well, she never responded to me shrugs Invite her again to some event where things will be fun, she will be hanging out with you, and the evening should highlight you as a center of fun and attention (or at least part of the circus in some way). Feminists (and some people at this sub) fail to remember that people can have difference in opinions, without people being bad or stupid people. That universe of reasonable differences over things could include whether PMS or ED is worse or properly funded in terms of research. So perfectly reasonably, informed people could squabble over whether PMS or ED is worse for the people suffering it. People can have different opinions as to whether ED is properly lain next to PMS in terms of discussing …

Imagine if men lived in a society where raping and violence was encouraged. We'd be pillaging in the streets. Hire a maid -- it avoids bickering and will likely produce gratitude and appreciation. The more important issue---which these other posters are missing--is that it may make the OP's life easier. I ignore it. Women will often just reach out and start rubbing your back or arm if you are a lifter. They are like a kid who wants to pet a cat. They mean no harm. They mean no sexual interest. They just like what they see, and want to touch it. I swear that they are barely aware of doing it.

but it's not just as simple as that. And witness the male hamster. Demoted to plate, at best. Obviously. But better to just end it. If she wants to know why, tell her plainly that since she thinks booty-calling ex lovers is okay, she is no longer worthy of your commitment. Then back-turn and walk away. Can't speak from experience as I'm not married and don't have kids. There is a lot of that in the advice being given here, I think. Men who have not had the experience of realizing how tenuous is their legal ability to see their small kids typically talk a lot tougher about kicking the wife/mom to the curb.

If individual A can take my assets, income, and kids when I fire the lazy bastard, hell yes I hire B and keep paying A. That would continue until my kids are no longer at risk of living with A's new tatted-up boyfriend after I fired A. This is precisely why marriage and custody laws are such a large incentive for gals to be terrible wives: guys who work with a SAH spouse face a severe penalty upon leaving. Gals know this.

Hire a maid to clean. Order prepped meals for the week to be delivered. If she asks why you did that (Don't consult her on those decisions), just shrug and say, "You didn't step up and do those things, and I don't have time. So I hired it out, to get it done." If you just make men attend the right seminars, and hear the right sort of awareness-raising speakers, these problems will be solved. No, really, that is how you make change: you make people come to a seminar, listen to earnest people with a masters' degree in sociology-women's studies. Maybe a few seminars, for the hard cases. I get paid to manage social conflict between hostile/opposing parties. So nearly every day I deal with people who want to get over on top of me, with the stakes in play being higher than hurt feelings. After doing this for decades, I am good at it. When people start in with attempts to socially dominate (belittling you is one form of such attempts to dominate), generally you can either escalate, identify, ignore, or leave. His SMV is about the same as mine probably. Long, hard look in the mirror time: maybe higher? Be honest with yourself. The tough part of this is the long term friendship. If this were some relatively less connected "friend", it would be easy to address. I shared this with my female therapist You might want to consider finding an "aware" male therapist. The profession of therapy is deeply liberal, blue pill-infused SJW territory. Most of them would think a skinny-fat, mincing, cringing version of you is the proper male posture to adopt in life. That is what their textbooks tell them, anyway. The whole issue revolves around this: How is the SMV of that guy? If he is a low tier guy, this is just her providing some care and maintenance to an LJBF orbiter. Women are going to do that. All women. The gals honestly see such guys as "friends" (i.e., they have zero attraction towards the guy, but still like his attention). Any LTR you have will have some guy "friends". And nursing a kid also jacks up a woman's hormones, so guys are often not that interesting to her, including her husband. So the normal "yeah, but would she jump on Ryan Reynolds?" reality check to a woman claiming a lack of sexual interest in her husband is not applicable in the time after childbirth. But that recogn…

You sound like no peach, either, to be frank. Why do I say this? I wrote to my sister telling her that since we don't have kids, it maybe a good idea to buy my wife something small and let her take care of it, as a kind of test as to whether she's ready to be a parent. You should show some loyalty and discretion and discuss such things with your wife, not others. That said, your wife's reaction to your conduct is indicative of someone with some very serious problems. She is nuts.

Treat it like you would a kid. Ignore, and redirect their behavior back to a more appropriate, mature interaction. After doing that once or twice, they will likely stop it in the future. If they take it too far at some point, calmly and directly state that you want them to stop that, because throwing elbows and such at people is just not how people comport themselves, in your experience.

"It cannot happen here!" is the belief all of us want to have. Trouble is, when you examine economic history, it becomes uncomfortably clear it is highly likely that the US government will become confiscatory at some point. Governments typically do that when debt markets close, and the only other choice is to stop spending in excess of revenue, and thus suffer the political downside of angry, government-dependent voters. As a community, Theredpill is bad at economics, from what I have read over …

When governments suddenly find themselves frozen out of the debt markets, they often grab at the savings of the population, and promise to pay it back...someday. As in never. In such a case in America, 401Ks will be a great store of wealth for the government to grab at if its fiscal and monetary policies don't work any longer, and further borrowing becomes impossible. The holders of such accounts cannot obtain liquidity and scram with the money. Plus, all the accounts are readily identifiable an…

For most of the guys here, monk mode = I am hiding from reality. Monk mode is for a short term intense withdrawal to achieve a goal, such as when you are prepping for a really big professional exam (medical boards, bar exam, acturial test, etc.). Read it yourself: There are a number of reasons why a profitable company may not pay taxes. For instance, years of deep losses can affect a tax bill. Take United Continental, which reported a $3.2 billion income tax credit in 2015 despite reporting earnings before taxes of $4.2 billion. Accounting rules allow the airline to offset taxes due with valuation allowances resulting from losses in past years. During 2015, these allowances amounted to $4.7 billion which erased the company's $1.5 billion…

If she is windmilling punches at you, though, yes, you could lay a straight right hand into the breadbasket or schnoz, and make her back off. Pepper spray too. But like I wrote, only if she is wheeling off whacks at you on an ongoing basis. You cannot punch her hard just because…

She is an exec at a company you know with advanced degrees and very fit. That does not add much to a woman's SMV. If it did, there would be calendars of female middle-aged HBS graduates holding a managing director title, rather than calenders featuring 20 year olds.

Feminist women still peddle the lie that there is this sort of room where white men hang out, like a club. In that club, the mediocre are greeted with warmth, and the rewards of superior performance are bestowed, meanwhile talented women are kept outside the room. Men of course know there is no such room. Rather, there is a rugby scrum of all-against-all, with occasional interruptions and outbreaks of cooperation among certain players, before anarchy and all-against -all resumes. Luck, hard work…

I can only speak for me. The experience that life can change significantly for men from age 18 to 28 is real. Some posters here experience turnarounds that range from modest to extreme. I am one who experienced such a change. At 18, I was a skinny small-town kid of no academic achievement, broke, and wondering how I would make my way in life. I was nobody at a large college, after being a screw up in high school. People literally told me my ambitions were probably too much. At 28, I was a licens…

Your engagement is superficial and polite at all times. That does not mean you become a shut-in, or a guy who doesn't talk to people. You need to start developing the anodyne, professional face you will present in the workplace in a few years. Practicing on your roommates is an excellent training ground. You want to seem approachable but the person can never seem to get into your circle of confidants. Every person who has their game together is seen as slightly distant with most people, and trus…

If she ever has a son, and that young man gets a draft board induction notice, or that son volunteers for combat duty in wartime, she will then understand that movie much, much better. You need to withdraw more from their social interactions. You should be an enigma, wrapped in a mystery, wrapped in a puzzle to those roommates. The less they know about you, and the less you speak to them, the better off you will be. Be polite, pay your bills, clean up after yourself. Beyond that, ghost them. And keep moving. The point is that THESE ARE NOT STANDARD WOMEN. These are the outlier, that 0.0001% of the female gender. We CANNOT look at them as a legitimate example of the female gender. And they still needed men---lots of them, and almost exclusively men---to perform the violence necessary to enact their policy.

I strongly suggest longer and wider reading in economics and history. You will find, I think, as many of us did after we expanded our reading list past what the professors offer, that there is an entirely different, and more convincing explanation of human economic interaction, as opposed to what Marx et al offered. I am not saying Marx was not a superb economic thinker. But much like Keynes, he just got a few big things really, really wrong. You are relating some of those above. Also, don't eng…

And remember that the number is one enforced by law, meaning you are put in jail if you fail to discharge your duty. That is what taxation is: give the state money for its purposes, or go to jail. Now, I am not saying no taxes are justified, but when you stop paying for roads, and start paying for a woman or man to sit at home, pursuing their domestic life, well, now you need to make a different case for taxes. And using jail as a threat for failure to pay for people's domestic activities.

Unless you will lose access to your children, or suffer a crippling financial loss, you never speak to an unfaithful woman again. No, because males can exit a relationship too. But if you start examining how the divorce laws and, now, revised rape claim treatment by society, are implemented (ignore the gender neutral language, focus on how the rules are applied), you start to see that society is trying to hem in a man's agency, to make the decision regarding relationship a unilateral one, held primarily by women.

In economics it is called responding to incentives. As the cost of marriage goes up, and the benefits go down, you can expect less of it to be engaged in, all things being equal. The problem will be, of course, what we are already seeing: women will not forgo the benefits of marriage--increased household income, social status, children, child-rearing assistance--just because men do not want to provide them directly. Oh no. Instead it will become a matter of social justice that women are entitled…

Onset of such behavior typically characterized as "mid life" crisis actually correlates most closely with the FERTILITY drop of the female partner. That means a 26 year old guy with a 46 year old female is more likely to present the mid life crisis antics as opposed to a 46 year old man with a 26 year old female partner. In short, mid life for the man has nothing to do with it. The ending of his mate's fertility does.

in response to the claim, "Biology doesn't matter; being a father is about loving the child and your connection to it.", I always like to ask "So, why are we so darn concerned about making sure the moms take home THEIR baby from the hospital? It should not that big a deal if it turns out later not to be hers, right? Biology doesn't matter. Etc." I have yet to hear any response that doesn't start with an insult of me.

You can say "I believe Zeus" too. Doesn't make Zeus or stories about him real.

Can anyone point me to some stuff that best refutes (or attempts to) TRP? Broad question. You are better advised to find certain things which suggest certain portions of common TRP tropes are examined. Some will bear up fine under scrutiny, others less so. Like any body of knowledge, there is some that is very solid, some that is unproven but intriguing, and some that is probably wrong. Your job as a learned person is to sift through it and find the gold among the dross.

I ask my coworkers if they would do the same thing if ever their husband got sick and needed to work during the day and all of them said "no" and laugh at me. Most women in the West today are unable to comprehend the notion that they should actually want to take care of their partner due to loving the partner, let alone that they should do so out of reciprocal loyalty to the partner. But god help the guy who thinks he is not obligated to provide back rubs, money, listening time, etc., all immedi…

(1) Sex is so special, a potential lover has to wait until she is ready. or (2) Sex is sold to any man with a few hundred bucks. Any woman seriously trying to say both things are values she holds is not to be taken seriously. Anyone who thinks she should be taken seriously is, again, not to be taken seriously. You don't argue with people who are not to be taken seriously. You just make very, very sure sucn unserious people get no power over you, and move along in life, leaving them to their unse…

This is not a numbers post, it is a soft-analysis post about the overall picture younger guys (18-30) face. TL;DR: Game/Redpill/having a fucking clue/whatever you want to call it will shift your ability to pull more gals in your "league" and keep them interested longer and with greater intensity. It will not get lower tier men higher tier women. Putting it less succinctly, and with some irreverent imagery, Redpill will not get a goofy guy 4 pulling University of Miami cheerleader 9s and keeping …

Put on your helmet, because the tough love is coming. Let me do a TL;DR for you. I am beta bucks, and still working out from my delusions. Turns out that wife is eager to sex hot guys who turn her out like a porn star, but she has no interest in me. She is currently BSing me about willing to sign an agreement that will prevent the inevitable divorce rape. I am still under the delusion she will actually give up assets, alimony, outrageous child support, and let me see my kids. The bad news: You a…

You are a middle aged guy, who has been around, and still want to? Do it. Best of luck and enjoy the family. No snark. Serious. But if you tell some 21 year old guy, at the start of life, to "man up" and "do the right thing" and otherwise convince him to take on a lifetime commitment, because he got some blowies and regular sex from a single mom, for the first time in his life? (Which is what the culture too often tends towards doing) Yeah, well, then I have a much different response to your poi…

oneitis. You can't change her into a loyal woman. She either is that, or she is not. Her friends cannot convince her to have sex with other men, they can only cheer her on when she makes that decision herself. You are just trying to hamster it into "Oh, she is special....it is her SLUTTY SLUT friends who would be to blame!" Stop it. She is her friends. If she is into hanging around gals that go to bars and bang random guys, well, that says a ton about what your gal sees as acceptable behavior. Y…

Been lifting since I was 14. 5' 11'. Many years of lifting. Low body fat. Always been in shape. I don't really know what it would be like to be short, pudgy or skinny fat. Things I have noticed over the years. Swolesting. Women will grab your arm when they talk to you, clearly focused on your arm's musculature. It will often travel up your shoulder to your back and chest. While they are talking. It just roams around, like they are petting a cat or something. It is almost like their brain has a s…

Yeah, same thought. I have worked with female MBAs, JDs, and PhDs in corporate environments. They are no different, they just run the same programs in the background that I saw up front with the high school dropouts from my days as a college student working crap jobs.

Find out who the Queen Bee is and start kissing her ass. Nope, game her, and do your job well, without causing her any headaches professionally. She will adore you. Kiss her ass, and she thinks you weak.

Mainstream politic opinion. Never, ever express a political opinion at work. Treat it like a discussion fo sex: absolutely never go there. If other people bring it up, you smile, nod, and then change the topic to a safe one. As a guy, you will get no points for the "right" attitude--whatever that is--and you will get blackballed for the wrong attitude.

Why is TRP so hard to swallow for men? It is a discipline, like person's practice of daily hard workouts or intense study of a complex topic over years: once you have acquired the discipline, the effort required becomes a joy, and the discipline's pursuit is vital to full life. But when you begin to acquire the discipline, it often hurts, and can even scare the newcomer into thinking this is harmful and unwise a pursuit. Other pursuits and interests are forsaken, or shown to be laughably silly c…

Watched a guy who divorced 20 years ago have to go to court to get his alimony reduced. (Yeah, 20 years later, still paying.) He was now turning 70, wanted to sell his business and start taking it easy. Accordingly, he wanted to reduce his alimony to reflect his new reduced income in retirement. The ex-wife went batshit. He had made her a millionairess when they divorced 20 years ago. Literally. She was worth MILLIONS as part of the divorce settlement. She had never worked a day in her life sinc…

In markets, marginal incentive and resulted effects matter. Even guys who would normally be classed as "alpha", or let's say the most attractive 5% of men, will have that virtual experience available as an outlet. That effects their behavior at the margin. Across the board, they will have less incentive to put out that last bit of work for gals, because of that substitute experience. As males across the board have less need to push for female attention, the effect is profound, because the supply…

Compare "Pong" to "CoD:Modern Warfare 34" or whatever number they are on now. VR is at the "Pong" stage right now. When you get the sort of leaps we can expect in the next 10-20 years, man oh man, my guess is things are going to be interesting. Men Going Their Own Way, Japanese Herbivores, etc. is a fringe thing now, and is likely to remain so, because guys between 15-40 will do lot to get laid. But once they can have that same experience, or possibly better experience, on demand, without any of…

My guess is the NYT does not do soft-focus puff pieces on husbands who are out banging women, sympathetically suggesting that it was all that nasty society pressure on young men to achieve that caused them to be middle age cooz hounds.

What is her age? 21 is different than 31. What is the age of the rest of the crew, besides Ms. 30? If there are some middle-aged fraus who will be yawning at 9:30 pm, that is a different crowd than 21-30 year old single party gals. And if her family is generally not okay with drunken lechery, and her family is part of the crew, I would think that is going to serve as a rather significant brake on any antics. Gals do not get buck wild with Chad Thundercock if Aunt Reba is going to be there, watch…

There is no gospel here. People here share their observations and experiences from real life, not religious faith. Almost no one is asserting things based on faith at this forum. Quite the contrary, they are arguing against a worldview that is pretty much built on faith. Everyone has different tastes in women, but there are certainly preferences that express themselves more often in a male population. Younger and fitter being a very common preference.
