Yes, a large portion of mining is in China, but they do not essientially set price. The rising hash rate is in some ways a reflection of price, as without demand for Bitcoin to be purchased, the money would not be present to pay for the miners or electricity.

I agree with this. Holding Bitcoin helps one realize the need to save, and it tends to reward saving. Before anyone rushes in with But the dEc 2017 CraSh! Thats when I entered, and sure I lost money early, but continued accumulation through Jun 18 to Mar 19, I'm solidly in profit. I encourage others to learn what Bitcoin is, how it works, download a wallet, and make an informed decision about if you would like to own Bitcoin or not.

Yesterday's price dropped to the 200 day moving average, further consolidation is definitely possibly. There are fundamental advances Bitcoin offers compared to fiat currency. Even a 1% allocation over a 5 year timeline will likely perform wonderfully. Given the nature of clown world government, I think having a small position in Bitcoin may be wise. Bitcoin's meaning and value is beyond profit and numerical value, it is about an unstoppable human right to hold and exchange value.

OP, I spent the fall sailing with a guy 30 years older than me in his early 70s - recounting how things fell apart in his first marriage. It sounded like full blown trauma, and I believe it was. I hope other good things followed. I've made some errors and poor choices that have impacted me heavily. In some ways I'm better off. Who knows, we all do the best we can.

I can say for sure how it goes when they report you to HR. I'd say I'd be serving 10 life sentences. Went through a low period in life, made selfish and regrettable choices. Even still I feel the punishment you propose wouldn't completely stop the behavior, but would largely curb it. I will say women do a great deal to encourage men to take the bait. Don't need to tell me, I've got a divorce raped father. No stranger to the game, I just feel I would have been way more screwed if my Dad bailed on me. I'm 42, divorce was when I was like 8. I could have stood to have more masculine influence growing up. I found my way though, skate boarding, BMX biking, and generally not giving a shit. I ask because I'm heavy into sailboats and every so often someone comes crashing into yacht design without proper foundations and their ideas are generally totally unworkable. It's a nice empty drive, if you really take a coastal route there is a point a small ferry will run you across a small body of water for no money. Personally I'd go with something smaller. You need something with a functioning galley and shore power wiring so you can run AC etc. The reason I suggest smaller is you will be more likely to actually use it and build skills. Consider boats from 28 to 32 feet in my opinion.
