I could transfer to another uni but in pharmacy they always make you repeat a year, mostly because they're bureurocratic and want more money. Plus the cost of living is high everywhere (http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/rankings_by_country.jsp). Edit: most people live with their parents until they have a career/married or their parents help pay.
