I hate politics, but conservative in the sense that I think we need to put social issues behind us for a few years and solve global warming

I do not condone feminism, and baby trapping. I do not think we should be allowed to control whether she gives birth or not, but we should be able to control if we want to be a figure or not. We should be allowed to say “I do not wish to be a figure in my child’s life”. Her body her choice, his money his choice.

I’m talking about the taliban coming back, meaning treatment of women in that area is going to go down fast. Look OP I agree with most of your points no doubt, it’s just not the greatest timing. I never said contemporary feminism was helping there, either
/r/MensRights17/08/21 09:25 PM

I agree with your points. But a) try to calm down. Bring angry only makes your points seem invalid, which they're not. And b) not great timing with the stuff in Afghanistan, just to point out.

Cool. Btw I have nothing against trans ppl. The reason I think under 16s, or minors for that fact shouldn’t be allowed to have sex changes is because they might change their mind. I knew someone who was dead sure they were trans for 2 years and were mad their parents wouldn’t let them get a change, but now after a bit of searching they’re currently cis. I understand that it sucks for genuine trans kids, but it’s what’s gotta happen to make sure others don’t screw up

EVERYONE! I’m not here to judge you. I’m here to observe. Stop attacking people for their opinions, whether or not they align with key MRM principals. I made this post to be an observation, no an echo chamber. So please, stop arguing and PLEASE stop insulting each other. If we continue like this, we are no better than feminists.

Fair enough. I understand that there’s no way of proving that I’m not a hack. If you were circumcised though, would you mind commenting your thoughts about it? No name required, I understand the sketchiness
/r/MensRights20/05/21 02:41 AM

I swear to you I’m not a feminist. Here, here’s the plan of my speech so far if you don’t believe me: Men’s rights activism Why circumcision should be illegal FOR MINORS regardless of culture or religion. (Agree it should be illegal) - The baby cannot consent to the operation, as it is, for lack of a better term, a thoughtless minor. It is also irreversible, so he can’t change it in the future. - It’s not anti Semitic or islamophobic to police this (tie into paragraph 1) - It’s cosmetic and, wit…

Hey hey hey. I’m all for MRA discussion here, but can we not bring U.S. politics into this? I personally don’t like the left that well, but that doesn’t matter. I get your point, but I don’t think that was necessary. Just to be clear, doesn’t matter what party. Liberal, Republican, other, same thing.

You’re right with you’re statements. I do know my values, they just clash with the fact that it’s subjective in nature, but objective in certain opinions (ie mine). Thanks for the talk. Much appreciated
/r/MensRights03/02/21 08:09 PM
2

You are right that feminism is gaslighting and not equality. That is an objective truth within society. But when we are stripped back to our roots, neither are right or wrong. Don’t get me wrong though I’m MRA all the way. That’s not changing.
/r/MensRights03/02/21 08:06 PM
1

See the thing is I’m talking primal. Forget about society. Forget about whatever you know. Opinions are nothing but values. Yes equality is a value I WITHOUT DOUBT AGREE WITH (gotta emphasise that) but Equality is an opinion. Inequality is an opinion. however... In the regulations of the law, equality should be an objective right. No doubt. But the laws aren’t thing that will physically stop you. I dunno, this is really hard to explain for me. I agree equality should be achieved, but that’s the …

This subreddit is both. We discuss about men’s rights and point out the flaws in feminism (first world only). One of our biggest arguments is that feminism should still be around, just not here. Countries in the 3rd world need more attention from feminism as sexism is rampant there.
/r/MensRights17/01/21 07:36 AM
2

I never said that. I have had many discussions about men’s rights here including circumcision, effects of social change and others
/r/MensRights16/01/21 08:53 AM
3

Why are you even on this subreddit?
/r/MensRights16/01/21 06:56 AM
5

Okay briefing time. We exist because feminism exists. If feminism disappeared, so would we. We would no longer be advocating for men’s rights but for rights in general. But because feminism is so extreme we needed an opposite. Men’s rights, as men were being overshadowed. If the issues with modern feminism went away then we would probably just identify as one for equal rights all around with no association with gender. It’s the exact same idea, just a different name for the need of opposition
/r/MensRights16/01/21 03:18 AM
1

Feminism isn’t that anymore. That has nothing to do with the fact that they’re a woman. If someone was saying that about men I would do the same. It’s called being a decent fucking person. Feminism = women’s rights, decency = everyone rights. Soak that up
/r/MensRights16/01/21 03:15 AM
11

Hi. I once made a post about this “men’s line”. It completely tricked me into thinking it was for male victims, instead it’s for talking men out of abuse. Nothing about that is bad, but the way it was advertising itself was just evil and the way it assumes every man is like that is terrible.
/r/MensRights14/01/21 10:04 AM
1

This is less to do with sexism and more do do with violence towards the disabled. Still horrible though

I understand it is religious, but that child may grow up to not believe in Judaism and therefor it is unnecessary for them. But yeah they’re most like.y gonna grow up Jewish and be glad. It’s a very complicated issue
/r/MensRights01/01/21 11:59 AM

I am no expert (when a lot of nouns show up I get disoriented) , but form what I can gather it is a commandment from god and is preformed on the 8th day after birth and is only postponed if there are any health concerns. I am not too sure and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I would love to learn.
/r/MensRights01/01/21 11:54 AM

It is perfectly fine to be glad you were circumcised, good for you :). And yes it is a tricky issue. I just thank you for being polite
/r/MensRights01/01/21 11:51 AM
7

It shouldn’t be someone’s right to do that to someone that cannot consent. If they feel like they want to later down the line then by all means, they should be able to do so, just not during infancy. There is a chance where that child does not believe in Judaism and therefor it was meaningless to him. But then again there is a likely chance that he will be Jewish. But my point is that if he did believe, then he would wait for circumcision when he could consent.
/r/MensRights01/01/21 11:48 AM

I ain’t talking about that. I’m talking about the other thing...

I do not truly understand too much about this religion to be fare. I am in no way bashing Judaism, either. You do whatever makes you happy, whether that be Judaism, atheism or anything else. I also do not hope you leave this sub. It would be quite valuable to hear your opinion on this.
