That is a wild leap and not at all what I said. Long story short men are going to approach no matter what. The result will be based on their own self-worth and a bunch of other variables that they cannot control. Rather than debating on what should happen just live your life and stop worrying about everything to such an intense degree.

Yeah, I think we are on the same page. So let me reframe what I’m trying to say in a different way so that it doesn’t come across as aggressive. I do agree with you that men are probably chasing something that may not fulfill them the way they think it will. I think we need to keep in mind that most men don’t get the type of intimacy they’re looking for. This can cause poor decisions to be made. 100% agree. However, men are still gonna have these feelings and chase it. Best thing we can do is to…

Men want women period. That that’s just desire. It’s not gonna change amongst men just because they come from different walks of life. It sounds like you have a lot of feelings bottled up and you want to express them. I wish you all the best and hope you find what you’re looking for. It’s just that men aren’t looking for what you’re wanting them to.

I think deep down nobody wants to put someone else down. None of us want to be the person to ruin another person’s confidence so we hype each other up. It does come off as hypocritical, especially in the situation because often times the women know that the guy would be ludicrous for trying. Basically they want him to try with others just not her.

Let me clarify. Men aren’t against being morally good but they don’t only want to be know as that. They want to be known as more. That’s my point.

I think good man isn’t the phrase to use here. Compatible and hot makes more sense based on the context.

I agree but for most men, being good for dating is the bare minimum they want to be known for.

I see. The disconnect typically comes down to intention. Men don’t typically get women’s intention so being a good guy morally isn’t really the flex they want to be known for. Also I think a lot of women say that to subtly reject a guy as well. To be honest I don’t think any guy want to be a good guy and then bad for dating.

So you are saying that a good guy is based off how attractive he is? If he’s not then he’s not a good guy then? I’m a bit confused and would appreciate some context.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 07:33 PM

This adds more context so I appreciate you sharing. Yeah it sounds like you were respectful and didn’t cross any boundaries. Unfortunately it seems like you knew the answer beforehand so did she. Which is why she pretended to come to the wrong place at first. Sorry this happened to you man but it sounds like you knew this was coming. Keep your head up and move forward bro. All the best!

I’ve seen some say that but for the most part all those guys have a serious girlfriend. I take it you don’t watch a lot of their content which is understandable.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 04:17 PM

Good, now show me a better result. Get back out there then and stop ostracizing yourself in the office. Hold your head up high and go forward.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 03:40 PM

I agree with that but that’s not what I meant. You should have asked her to hang out outside of work. It would be casual and low stakes. You could feel a vibe and take things further but you didn’t try that. Probably because you knew she would say no. You assume this is friend zoning because you can’t imagine a woman hanging out with you voluntarily. That’s on you and not women.

This is just a bunch of feelings and has nothing to do with men’s desire for women. Everyone wants someone special in their life. You are mixing things that don’t belong with one another.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:55 PM

Game can be part of it for sure but looks go a long way. Best advice is to shut that part of you down at work. Keep things casual and low expectation. Your success with women will be outside the workplace.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:46 PM

I feel for OP because he is now a piranha in his office but this is why you shut that part of you down at work. That stuff is only for attractive guys. Hope OP rebounds somehow.

Of course some women do that but that’s not the majority of women. I suspect that one of the women who she had told decided to put OP in his place. It does seem that OP doesn’t have a lot of friends in the office because if he did then he would have moved on past this.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:32 PM

If that was the case, OP would have taken it slow and hung out with her outside the office with no expectations but he didn’t. He dove into the deep end because he was swimming outside his depth.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:31 PM

Of course it happens and it is very common. However if you look deeper you will see the truth. Typically the guys who do this are very attractive and smooth. They are the type of guys who people expect to get laid. Also it tends to be the same guy with multiple women in the companies over time. That’s just not most dudes. Nothing wrong with that but you have to be honest with yourself about where you stand.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:28 PM

Most women don’t think that deep on this. They’re not trying to humiliate men at every turn. She probably shared this with her friends and then word spread. It doesn’t sound like he has social proof of any kind so when this happened there was no one to defend him. He probably started getting looks and ostracized himself even further.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:26 PM

I don’t think she’s pretending. It sounds like she didn’t think it was a big deal to tell anyone. Unfortunately she may not understand social dynamics that well since she wouldn’t have judged some guy who asked out a co worker.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:21 PM

It’s ur fault OP. Don’t shit where you eat. Unless you are “the guy” it’s an awful idea to approach women in your workplace, gym or any other place you have to go to. Save that for your personal life.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/25 02:19 PM

To most red pill dudes the movement is really about understanding the reality of the world rather than just pretending everything is going to work out. I don’t believe in being completely jaded and hating women in general because women can be amazing. However, as a man have to earn it so I think there’s a sense of honesty and sense of self capability with the movement in general. There are some bad players in it. I won’t lie. However, if we’re gonna measure the success of it, it can only come do…

Most of the time they lie about it so that they can make sure that the sex will keep coming. The moment they revealed their true intentions with you he will cut it off and that’s not something they want. The best way to hedge against this sort of behavior is to have men in your corner who want the best for you like your father and brothers. Most of the time women will tolerate bad behavior from men because deep down they don’t wanna accept that they made a bad choice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
