2	19 YO girl who made up false rape claims has charges raised to felony. Now faces up to 32 years compared to the original 6 months. TBH didn't read it either. But she tried to ruin someone's life. If she hadn't been caught lying, his punishment would have been X. I see no reason that if she was intentionally trying to cause X she should get a lesser punishment than X.
