Ungrateful - An UpdateSome language you've used to describe your situation have given me thought... You've used the language "ungrateful", "wifely support worthy of being mentioned". I want to ask you whether you are doing nurturing things to receive praise and attention, or out of the goodness of your heart and because you genuinely want to care for him? Your language implies it's attention seeking behaviour and you want recognition for it. In fact, your discussion with him as you've detailed explains you are demand… | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/05/23 11:48 PM
Was it me?I've only read two paragraphs in and then stopped. Walk away. It's not you, it's him. Red flags all over the place. His language reads like anger, frustration and hurt. You are not in a relationship with him, so don't attempt to heal him. His deflection of providing you an answer on the status of your relationship is a clear indicator that he isn't mature enough to provide you with what you need. If a man says he is something, he actually isn't - It might be aspirational but men who have 'high v… | /r/RedPillWomen | 08/05/23 02:40 AM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age?Yes, I would accept her. My love isn't conditional. A part of me would be sad forever and I'd feel like I'd failed her in some way, but that's a me issue. | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/05/23 08:02 PM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age?Thank you for sharing. It went a bit over my head, and it would for my daughter, too. It may be a cultural thing (I'm in Australia). I did understand that he was pointing out the parallels between socialism and wokeness. I hadn't noticed / thought about that before, thank you for sharing so I could learn something new. | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/05/23 11:14 PM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age?Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. The letter is a beautiful idea. I'm going to put the book on my reading list for inspiration, too. I like your suggestion of guiding her and being available to comfort her when learning from her mistakes. | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/05/23 11:07 PM
HealingTo continue on this theme, Laura Doyle - The Empowered Wife (formerly, The Surrendered Wife) asks the readers to identify ten self care activities they can do, and ten activities that make you feel good. From these activities, aim to do three from each category, each day. It may help with the self confidence building. | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/05/23 04:08 AM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age? It's rife, isn't it? I find it concerning. I deliberately enrolled her in an all girl's Catholic school to ensure she hears similar themes at school as what are mostly reflected at home (we aren't religious). However the church no longer has the power - it's the feminist mother's. The school wanted to reference submission of wives to their husbands in a recent mass and the mothers were outraged and called the media, who loved the story. The mass did not end up referencing the planned topic. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/05/23 11:04 PM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age? That's a great perspective, and I understand it too from my own experiences. I think you're right - I can make suggestions or gently guide, but it may take someone she admires to say something similar for there to be an impact. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/05/23 08:05 PM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age?Absolutely agree. I briefly thought about mentioning RP and instantly dismissed it because of the thought she might look it up online and go down the rabbit hole. I would like to protect her from the perspectives in that space, and it would innapropriate for her age. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/05/23 07:52 PM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age? These are really good ideas, thank you for sharing. Maybe if I frame it like "how would it make you feel if?" kind of scenarios, relating to the possible negative outcomes of sex. I think she understands the natural gender roles and sees the benefits I receive from it as a woman, like being treasured and loved by my partner but it might be helpful if I talk about how it makes me feel to love a man and treasure him in return, and talk her through the things I do and show her, like making his lunc… | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/05/23 09:26 AM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age? That's a good idea, thank you. I'm absolutely going to suggest this to my partner. Having standards (and examples to base them off) is really helpful. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/05/23 09:20 AM
How would you introduce RP to your daughter? Do you wish you had known about RP at a younger age? This is really insightful, thank you. I recall myself as a teenager furiously rebelling against anything my parents lectured me about. I'm approaching this from the perspective of being open to conversation and her opinions, and asking her if she's thought about 'this or that' to stimulate deeper thinking. | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/05/23 08:21 AM
What does “being treated well” mean for you? When I was single and dating, I'd determine whether a man was treating me well by some standards: - does he open doors without a fuss, pull out a chair for me to sit, get my jacket and help me put it on without being asked (not all are required, some are nice, one is ok) - doing what he says he's going to do, when he has said he will do it or, if he can't, proactively communicating he can't fulfil something, apologising, and then doing it the next time - enjoy being in my company and finding me … | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/04/23 08:11 AM
Can squats bulk up your thighs?Ah, sometimes when your body is building new muscle you aren't losing body fat at the same time so your legs may be bigger. This normally happens at the beginning of muscle development, because you don't have enough muscle to eat the fat, yet. Muscle mass + existing body fat = bigger legs. It's short-lived so don't freak out 😉. You'll wake up one day soon and boom your legs look and feel normal again. Could also be water retention, so keep up the fluids. If after a couple of weeks you still feel… | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/04/21 09:15 PM
Can squats bulk up your thighs?Define "bulk up"? If you workout a particular muscle group and eat enough food and protein, you will gain muscle. But it doesn't mean your legs will necessarily get any bigger. Your muscle will grow and the body fat may also decrease, so your thighs may be the same size but your clothes will fit differently because you've changed the shape. Other factors will also play a part like genetics, how long you've been working out for, how often you workout legs and how much you're lifting. If you want … | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/04/21 06:09 AM
