Seen both women who are genuine abuse victims with fucked up faces and also seen the results of couples quarrels, inwhich both man and woman were being physically violent. See I think that the assertive men are seen as confident, well put together etc. can be a bit of a blanket in these cases. I have been around plenty of men like that who are seen as/are complete pricks, I'm honestly confused by these discussions as there seems to be a blind spot for chaps who are the male version of 'bitches' and who are very often disliked by others.
