It's just tells you which one is relationship material. And which one is FWB.

I was not a man whore, not for lack of opportunity just not who I am. And to be honest, if she had told me the truth back then, I would have run the other way.

Just wish she would have been honest about her past. Finding out after 10 years of marriage was hard going.

It's pretty much how I have felt over the last few months. Till I realized I got the best parts of her. In December, I found out about her college party stage. Took me a few months to get over it.

Don't think my wife or kids would like that a whole lot.

Missed my party stage, was fighting in Afghanistan during it.

There is no way to tell. Roll the dice and hope for the best is all you can do.

Thank you. Right now, I treat her as 2 different women. One is my wife and mother of my children, my friend. And I don't deal with the other one right now at all. When she shows up, I hit the gym or go for a run.

Wasn't so much her total count that bothered me . Was more of the fact of what she did that disgusts me. And yes, I know people change, and she was a different person then. Hench, why I am going to therapy and working on salvaging my marriage. Instead of just getting a solicitor and setting my whole world on fire. Treating the momentary lack of love and respect as a simple drunken mistake in reliving her past. She reverted back to that 19-20 year old she once was.

No, it was the fact her and her friends were joking at my expense. Which made the lie that much worse, which made her past truly disappointing. The lack of respect and disregard are my main issues that are fueling everything else. I don't know about you, but it's hard to respect someone who doesn't respect you.

We were on holiday in Italy for 3 weeks in November/December last year. The first week was just us. The second week, she had 10 friends from college meet us. She talked to them periodically but hasn't seen them in 12 years. The first few day with them were fine, on monday we had gone to a winery and had been drinking most of the day. They were all hanging out and catching up. I got tired and turned in for the night. Was walking back to our cottage when I remembered me, hat and jacket, and went b…

My wife twisted the truth of her past. And honestly, has damaged me and our marriage. To the point that I have zero interest in sex at all. It's been 4 months now, and it's a nightmare. I'm not going into details, but you can read my profile to understand what I mean. For us who marry the girls that already had their fun and are just with the safe and stable guy now. It's a steaming shat sandwich.

Really doesn't matter because most of the time, if they have a questionable past, they are just going to lie about it anyway.

Sadly, no, because once they have had their fun, they start looking for a safe and dependable victim to settle down with.

I am sorry for all the trauma you are going through. I hope you find a good therapist who can help you unpack all of that. Seems like an unbearable amount of weight to carry around.

And I would beg to differ men do get sexual trauma.

I feel bad for the majority caught in the middle.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/23 03:18 PM

Then she should just let me go, and stop fighting to fix us.

Have been waking up a man for 36 years and have never had casual sex. It would seem placing value on emotional intimacy before physical intimacy is not how the rest of the world actually works.

In my wife's case our marriage came crashing down.

Seems in college she was some sort of sex worker, and the conversation got worse from there. Was able to stomach it for 45 minutes or so. Will never be able to look at her the same again. I will respect her as the mother of my kids. About all I have left for her.

Seeing a solicitor in about 2 hours. To start my divorce. My marriage ended Monday night she was having a college reunion of sorts. And thought I had went to bed early walked in on a conversation I was never suppose to hear. Ended up returning home a week and a half early. Left her on holiday. Now that I have returned home she can have a right proper reunion now.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
