You can't prove a value judgement right or wrong in the way you're trying to do it, it's all subjective. Most women could not factually either be annoying or not annoying, because that isn't even close to a fact, it's an opinion. I'm saying his thinking is flawed because it relies on judging people you've never met. He hasn't met "most women", so he doesn't know enough to make that judgement.

It's not a weasel word, it's genuinely a bad thing in most cases...like racism, or any other kind of discrimination. Most people take it for granted that discrimination is bad. Sexism means that you're judging somebody not on their individual traits, but on what category they fall in. I disagree with that. You can't change people's attitudes by censoring them. I don't think there is a solution other than promoting positive thinking and trying to change people's minds through discussion. I just don't think it's wise to judge such a wide variety of people based on negative generalizations. I think it's best to treat each individual based on their own merit, not what group they belong to.

Why did it get pretty much unanimous upvotes if it's not representative of the community? I'm not so much arguing against the statement, just arguing that what some people say TRP is all about doesn't seem to be reflected in a lot of the posts. Hmm, well it certainly doesn't come off that way from an outside perspective. It seems to focus on the negatives about women. I can think of a bunch of different ways TRP has posted about women being inferior than men, but I really don't think I've seen one post explaining any aspect of how women are better than men. I mean, in the hour or so of cruising around on this sub, I get an overwhelmingly sexist vibe.
