They’re probably relatively good looking. You say they’re average but frankly most men (especially on PUA sites) are pretty bad at judging other mens’ looks. Very unlikely they have receding chins, bald spots or love handles sticking through their shirts. They’re good at socialising. PUA is really just a sub chapter of generally being a sociable person. If you’re already good at socialising most of what you read on PUA sites isn’t news. Early success confidence. If your first couple of crushes a…

At that stage she’s just not interested, nothing more you can do. OP’s technique would help in those edge cases where there is some grain of interest but the convo gets stuck between the girl not knowing how to text without waiting to be worshipped and the guy not knowing how to break the pattern of question🔁one word answer Though yea, nothing beats irl approaches. Quantity vs quality.

You can definitely use social media as a gauge of disinterest though. Sure her following you might not mean much. Her not following you though, well you’d be silly not to take that as a sign to pack up and move on.

You’re being unfair. People AREN’T “interested or not”. It’s a spectrum, not a binary. And proper social skills such as not coming off as desperate (what OP is talking about) can and do help in edge cases. If you get your fill of opportunities for dating without trying, great happy for you. Others don’t, and for them these little improvements matter. This sub is also for them (and arguably mainly for them).

OP literally said he was “raging” that this girl wasn’t putting out after he spent time with her. Then followed by a nice little anecdote about how girls are actually desperate for sex and nos are just “shit tests” and actually mean a sneaky yes. Which again, sometimes they are, but the combination of this “lesson” and it coming from a guy who literally goes into rages when a woman doesn’t output sex in exchange for attention coins like a nice little sexomat is fucking disturbing.

As a brother and cousin to several 10s, this is 100% a myth. They definitely get hit on all the time, if slightly less than more achievable 8s then definitely by a higher percentage of high quality men (good looking, smart, funny, quick, fit). I assure you there’s no lonely gorgeous women’s club outside the imagination of adorably deluded people.

Half of the posts in these "let's point and laugh at people with silly beliefs" subreddits are obvious jokes. And the comments are always filled with enlightened Redditors lecturing the joke-maker on why the joke they missed is bad.

I too read the post we're replying to.

1) It only takes a cursory browse through the new section of this sub to see that no, it's not a given, and that many many guys swallowed the "looks don't matter" pill of bs the low-quality seduction industry is built upon. 2) Not to get into anecdote wars, but I doubt you've seen that many people on opposite ends of the attractiveness spectrum. A noticeable difference in attractiveness sure, happens, but an obese stinky video game nerd dating Taylor Swift is just not going to ever be a thing. A…

Oh can we please stop with this humblebraggy virtue-signaling utter bullshit. If you want to improve yourself read a good book, don't lift things up and down like a dumbass for hours on end. The only reason anyone ever does that is for the benefits to dating/sex/attractiveness, and anyone who denies that is clinically delusional.

Gay people. But yea, I see your point.

I disagree with the comic, though. Research has shown that women take maternity leave, choose less strenuous (ie lower paying) jobs, are more likely to take a break from working to raise kids, etc. That's actually the biggest reason for the wage gap. That's literally, to the letter, the exact point of the comic. Women taking less strenuous jobs is equivalent to men carrying more strain comparatively and therefore earning a higher pay.

You can't be this condescending.

Nobody's saying that everyone who uses the word is a virulent woman hater who keeps their wife in chains. But much like "faggot", the usage of "cunt" as a strongly negative word helps perpetuate and validate very real, very nasty views about women some people have, even if the user themselves does not hold them and uses the word without any trace of ill will.

use your head man. Think. Those are terrible ideas. If a girl accepted any of those then she's so into you that she would've fucked you anyway. Maybe you should follow your own advice.

Yes. And life is just a bunch of chemical reactions. Just because you can describe something simply doesn't mean its nuances are straightforward and obvious for everyone.

The main thing is that it should be playful. Don't be too vicious, and never make fun of something she has no control over. So for example if she somehow managed to get cold in the summer you might get a few laughs by teasing her a bit about it, but if she has a weird nose it's very hard to tease her about that without her feeling insulted.

Do women find fat guys attractive? No, but 170lbs isn't fat. If you're flabby go lift. Can certain other qualities make up for being fat? Yes, there's a lot more to being attractive than just weight, but I don't see why you wouldn't work on your body if you're unhappy with it. Wouldn't it be better to not have something to make up for? How much does personality generally play into attraction for women? Personality is key, but it can rarely do the work by itself unless there's also physical attra…

You sound good-looking. Congratulations, but don't assume that because dating was given on a platter to you it's that trivial for everybody.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
