Admitedly. If i didn't deep dive into my own personal red pill hell, I would have been far happier and probably more successful. The doom bringing redpill days was a really horrible place to be and I'm glad to be out of it. I completely agree with you, if you're a success it makes dating a breeze, being a failure... women are a pain in the ass I dread to think about what I could have been like years down that angry bitter rabbit hole

financial, compatible, maybe you've been dating for years and want to make it official. a close friend of mine was dating his childhood sweetheart partner for over 10 years or more before they decided to marry and have children. most of it is just a big day to celebrate two people ticking a box on a bit of paper, it's pointless but the benefits are probably the financial, being seen as a serious couple. people can get sick of each other with or without children.
