Same thing happened to me. Different details but the same end result. For 12 months after it all blew up I really struggled. After I got my own place, finalized the separation, spent quality time with my kids, and focused on myself, things got much better. I’m only looking forward now. Very similar story. Sounds like you’re doing all the right things. Keep it up. After two months I realized I couldn’t continue and just made a decision and went and got my own place. It was rough and scary at the time but the minute I got settled in my new place I was able to start moving on and my life has improved dramatically, and it’s only been three weeks!
