I have difficulties closing on Tinder, something I need to work on. The 10 days do include the 5 days we didn't speak.

You are right, thanks.

Ah i should clarify, I was lifting but stopped when I started BJJ because I didnt know if the two should even be done together. My bad for making that unclear. I have been doing BJJ for 2 months now. I dont know whether Im doing it right or wrong, just doing what my teacher tells me to do.

This comment is very helpful, thank you for taking the time to explain what it is I should do better!

It is not an issue of time or will, it is an issue of maximizing gains without falling into the trap of overtraining.

You make a good argument and I admit my logic is flawed. Thanks!

If you got bitten by an unknown species of snake would you go to the "snake expert" to have it checked out? There would (justifiably) be a huge uproar in the snake community when you assume all snakes are venomous. Nature doesn't care if it pisses some people off, you act to survive in situations like that. Nature, our instincts, aren't politically correct.

Well "I was pissed" could mean both, drunk or angry. I left it open to interpretation.

Well this wasn't supposed to be a Chad McThundercock story of which I have read enough. In my opinion they don't add anything to this community. Keep in mind this was more than a year ago and I know what I should have done in hindsight. I have made progress since. Thanks for the feedback though.

Yeah true, I should do that more often. Thanks!

Ok, I'll try. In situations where my friends and I are together for instance; everybody is having a good time and laughing at jokes that are often at the cost of others and I make a joke that I think is harmless but it turns out not to be. Like I said in a comment below I get "high" of laughter.

This makes perfect sense. Yes I definitely have issues with my confidence and I have considered taking up a contact sport like MMA just to improve my self confidence and control. I do lift but I had to stop due to exams eating up all my time. I didn't realize the issues were related though so thanks for pointing out the missing link. ♂

I'm sure that I am not. What usually happens is that I am "high" of my own and other people's laughter (no way of describing this better) and then I go too far when making a joke.

It's more of me trying to be funny and cocky but taking it too far I think. It's hard to explain.

If you don't go in for the kiss when the moment is good (in the park, lots of laughing, lots of touching, etc.) she will lose interest quickly. Before TRP I was interested in this girl and I KNEW she was interested in me. There was a great moment where I should have kissed her but I didn't have the balls. Ended up in the friendzone wondering what happened. Don't wait for the perfect moment, it will never happen. Just go in for the kiss. Edit: Oh and after you left you didn't give her enough atte…

Thanks for taking time to write the essay. Gave me some food for thought. Good luck to you too!

Give me a couple of examples of how you became more intense, better timed and more dominant please!

Going all alpha will last longer as going all beta BUT eventually it will fall apart. If she starts comfort testing it is a sign that you are acting too alpha. You are applying too much dread. Too much dread will lead her to think you aren't interested anymore, dread has to be applied in the right amount. So yeah acting "beta" once in a while is not always a bad thing. Of course you have to tread carefully.

She told me she was starting to think our relationship was only about sex. I thought she was shit testing me so I ignored it.

This is exactly what I meant, thank you for elaborating on my point.

Interesting point. I don't personally like the terminology alpha and beta but around here it is used a lot. Makes things easier. I think many people new to TRP have the impression of an Alpha showing no emotion; an alpha is always stoic. You need to be her rock. This is true most of the time but when it comes to a comfort test you need to show emotion and that is what people around here consider to be a beta trait. This is why I say you need to balance alpha and beta. What I mean is you need to …

Just argued with my girlfriend, I kept calm and I think I managed to maintain frame okish (still practicing that). When she got hissy I told her I am going to go until she thinks about what she said. After I leave I get a couple of texts saying something like "Go to "Becca", go to her and fuck her brains out if you think we aren't sexual enough. I won't let anybody change me." I ignored her texts. What should I do now? Edit: to clarify, Becca is the girl I hooked up with before we got together.

Yeah will do, til she texts me first though I'm going radio silence though.

Nah don't have oneitis, have a girl on the side. Just wondering if possible :P

I guess cause I feel like I fucked up and that it shouldn't cost her for my mistakes. We also live in a smallish town and there aren't a lot of cool people to hang around. Our circles of friends overlap a lot. So it would be easier to fix it rather than nexting her (even if that is the right thing to do). But hey I might be wrong. I'm completely new to TRP and dating in general.

Ok, I may have phrased my last sentence poorly. What I meant was that for me escalation is a problem and not just in this relationship but with other girls I hooked up with. Yes right now she can walk all over me but I'm wondering whether I can still correct my wrongs and change. Been reading lots of posts on this sub today (yes initially I mistook its purpose) and if I had found out about it earlier I may have acted differently. I always come off as too strong or too weak. I guess I just have t…

I realize that I fucked things up. I don't care how Beta I sound whilst saying this but I love this girl. She is hot, smart, funny and caring. The only thing that bothers me is our sex life. If I can't turn things around soon I know there will be no other option than to leave the sinking ship that is our relationship but until then I think I owe it to myself and her to at least try to work on it. So does anybody have any pointers on how to make her panties drenched without making her feel uncomf…
