I think you missed my point but agreed with it anyway. Hormones can.make you angry, depressed, grumpy etc but at the same time it's no excuse for acting that way ? If you've never snapped at someone or got angry with etc because if the way you're feeling then you're a better person than me. A good person willrecognise their bad behaviour and apologise for it though.

I'm a male and there absolutely is a double stadard when it comes to sentencing but what you.just said is rediculous. In my country (Australia) I've seen rapists get less than that. I'm sure I've seen rapists get less in the US as well...

As I said he would have no proof probably. Attacking someone's house is a much riskier proposition. He get's caught doing that and the cops could throw the book at him. 500k earlier in my life Australia would have kind of set me up for life. My house would have been paid off and with the money I would have spent on a mortage would go into investments and fun. The rich get richer. A couple of years in minimum security I could probably do for that. Hell, use it as forced study. Don't think I'd do maximum security though !
