This feels like arguing that the scientist is smarter than the artist, or that the artist is more creative than the scientist, when really, they both exhibit both traits in different ways.

There are trees that far outlive humans, immortal jellyfish, organisms that can survive the fucking vacuum of space. Are they "hardier"? No not really. It takes 10 years or so for economic policies to come out in the real economy. So... This growth is actually due to Bush? Trump going to be presiding over economic data produced by the Obama admin, you won't see the effect of Trump changes until after he is gone. I disagree with your assessment here. Companies have openly made decisions based on Trump's policies.

Actually, the opinions in the "economist" community have been varied. You linked to an article from a left leaning site which cites a left leaning think tank. I'm not shocked they don't like it. To be honest, I think most of the butthurt surrounding the Tax Bill is just anti Trump nonsense. Most people I've talked to who "oppose" don't even know what's in it.
