I can believe that. Like I said, I don't really know much about her.

Nothing makes me take someone's points significantly less serious like blinding hatred and bigotry attached. I don't know enough about this woman to call her racist, but her supporters do not help defend her case.

No idea why this is in this sub. Has nothing to do with men's rights. Edit: Also I don't know if anyone has read the comments but there is some pretty racist shit in there. Not to mention pro-Nazi comments and antisemitic rhetoric to go with them.

I don't understand how we can see posts like this, where we see real concern for the sake of men and boys in the future with real world examples, and then people tear this sub down. I get that some people here are toxic assholes, but damn... Not all of us are bad, most of us are just scared.

I wish I could get hired to do a job I can't and then get paid for months with no real risk of losing that job /s

Short answer: Some people in some groups are assholes. Some people in other groups use those assholes as representatives of the first group.

That's not how you spell "white and gold".

I actually wrote a complaint about it, because I grew up without a father, and I think that for the sake of fathers who try their damnedest and work as hard as possible to be good parents, this is offensive at best.

That sounds stupid to me... Or at the very least I can't see the sense behind it. Guess I'm a lot more racist then I thought.

I agree that there is no "reverse racism". That said though "I want my server to be white and I don't want to be served by someone black" are pretty much the same thing. I think there is a difference between preferring to be around "X" race and just not wanting anyone in your life that isn't "X" race.

Why is that racist? I don't even understand that... at all. So a Japanese person who has only ever been to Japan prefers the company of Japanese people to people of other races they've encountered, they're racist toward all non-Japanese people?

Every country that "celebrates" Valentine's Day should also have White Day in March.

I think the answer is still yes.

I think it's hard to be objective about it since it's easy to stand on either side if your beliefs line up with it. Though i agree, we're more or less back at square one.

I'm referring to any time they back the deaths, or killing of other people.

I agree with you, for a pro-lifer abortion is murder, and that probably wont change very soon. I still think that morality needs to be removed from the context of murder, because it's used as justification for some murders, but not others. I don't see how it's fair to chastise abortion which is in my opinion as close to murder as crushing an acorn is to cutting down a tree, but it's totally okay to kill religious fanatics. Murder is murder is murder is my point. So, in my opinion it's still reas…

A little more complicated for me to answer, but I'd say yes, for the following reasons: 1: Because the governments are usually in charge of law. 2: Taking a life is a cruel, and selfish act. 3: Not punishing people for murder through the legal system would lead to more murders in the sake of revenge which is an endless cycle of selfish stupidity. Though on the no side of this for me, I mostly think that murder is defined poorly as if it was a morality issue, or something that could be justified.…

Is discriminate really the right word here? It implies I made my choice maliciously. Though I guess that's a matter of opinion. But yes, my opinion on involvement with pregnancy has nothing to do with sex/gender/age/species/orientation. I staunchly believe that unless a pregnant woman asks for a person to be involved they just shouldn't get involved.
/r/MensRights20/01/13 04:30 PM

Nope it's 100% the same. It's not anyone but the woman who is pregnant any anyone she asks for help/advice's place to get involved, in my humble opinion.

What if your opinion is that men not involved in the pregnancy need to not be involved is my opinion? Does that make me sexist?

I like how in the comments, she admits that she is totally in the wrong, and doesn't want to sit back and let people think it was the guy's fault.

Thank you for the ELI5 explanation. I really needed that to be honest. I've been confused by this particular point most, and I wanted some clarification.

All of the comments got deleted so I can't really see what was going on, or where people were being angry in the /r/AskWomen thread. As for the /r/SubredditDrama thread, it seems like a lot of people are interpreting you as creepy half because of the winky face, and half because in context your "Polite" compliment was easy to see as intentional creepy.

Reading over that article, and some of her posts, it seems she has a strong habit of confusing arrogance with stupidity.

It's not mandatory, but it's respectful, and courteous. especially from someone you consider a friend.
