That’s not the type of disrespect you can correct bro. You’re only option is to walk.

As someone who doesn’t pass judgement on trannies or gay dudes, I gotta say: when I see a tranny or when I see gay dudes kissing, it honestly grosses me out. The feeling is so visceral and involuntary, I don’t think any amount of propaganda could get rid of it. I gag when I see somebody puke and I cringe when dudes smoosh their mouths together, it’s just my nature.

Good list, but I would move pot/tobacco smoking to solid red flag territory. Stoners typically prioritize weed above everything else in ther life and are insufferable unless you also smoke. And at least in the states, there are enough girls that don't smoke cigarettes that you don't have to tolerate it. I use to date a cigarette smoker who was also a vegetarian, and it was a gross pain in the ass.

Yeah I think it is hypocritical in a way to come out now and say "people need to stand up and fight this kind of behavior, even when it's hard." Oh really, because when you had the chance to stand up against it, it was a bad time to do so because XYZ. Why should other people stand up for you when you won't stand up for yourself unless it's convenient? Sure, that dude is a probly a sleaze bucket, but don't act like working in Hollywood is the same as scraping by doing manual labor: you had altern…

I went about 4 years just running and working out on playground equipment. I didn't get big, but I was noticeably ripped. I gave that up to do fitness classes though. Getting to socialize with people plus having a trainer to keep me honest is worth the money. If the money ever ran out, you're gonna see me back on the monkey bars in the dead of winter again, no doubt.

Reevaluate your relationship. Maybe your committment to your gf was the mistake, not the kissing and fingerblasting.

Either use social media to promote yourself or abandon it altogether. Either way, following other people's lives is a retarded waste of time. Especially when you are only able to see what they want you to see.

There isn't a hard and fast rule. It's a matter of self control and time management, just like drinking alcohol. If you can play video games in moderation and not let it interfere with more productive activities, great. Just be honest with yourself.

A very good and timely contribution for me. I just posted about how TRP insight helps you predict people's behavior, and some guys were butthurt that I had the temerity to use the word science while offering an anecdote instead of a link to some academic study. Give me a break.

You definitely offer some good insight here into the possessive nature of committing to a woman. She'll pretend as though she really likes you. But then as soon as it's revealed that she can't own you, you are replaced in a matter of hours by someone (less desirable) who will do her bidding. Now that's what I call objectification.

Been there bud. Many, many times. I actually ought to make a post about anxiety-induced ED, it has happened to me so many times with different partners. I've come to a few realizations. First is that I ultimately cannot control whether my dick gets hard or not. I've learned to be very zen when it comes to this. It is freeing to just accept whatever may happen and roll with it. It also helps to have some embaressing experiences, mope about them, and then move on. The embarrassment has almost comp…

I see (skinny) dudes at the gym who seem to only do isolation movements for their arms, and then maybe crunches. It's a good thing their workouts are ineffective, because if they made gains in those areas, their body would look unbalanced and wierd as fuck.

I don't really disagree with that. Now that getting married and having kids (for men) has been so disincentivized, it's not clear to me how the biological imperative to procreate can forever outweigh the practical risks. Sex gives you pleasure, and raising kids can give you joy, sure. But I can have sex without conception and have kids without having the right to raise them. The evolutionary success aspect doesn't seem to benefit the individual man.
/r/TheRedPill05/06/17 05:44 PM

In that case, they are having the kid in order to experience joy, and not because of some duty to procreate, right?

I wouldn't bother telling your family anything about your views. They won't accept it because they don't/can't live your life for you. Even family members who care about you ultimately only see your life from the outside. They've been projecting certain expectations onto since you were a fetus, and it makes it harder for them to accept a different lifestyle. I just say typical basic shit like "yep one day I'll find a nice girl, settle down and have kids. Can't wait." Not likely.

I don't think this is always true. Wanting to spread TRP knowledge like some kind of ideology to strangers is wierd as fuck. In fact, that's sort of how I look at anyone trying to spread a view or change "society," kind of like the militant atheist example you gave. Argumentative uptight people spreading their bullshit is always annoying. But when it comes to friends and family, there are times when it is genuinely distressing to see someone you care about make shitty decisions out of ignorance …

It occurred to me recently that the higher percentage of divorces initiated by women is often explained away with "well some of those husbands were probably abusive." In reality, it seems like abusing your partner is a fucked up but reliable way of keeping her around. And the women who do leave those psychos tend to quickly gravitate towards another psycho anyway.

That's almost the exact same series of events as my last LTR. Getting out of that jealous mindfuck of a situation was a tough choice but probably the smartest desicion I've ever made.

I've had a similar conflict of conscience. For me, as others have suggested, I decided that I wasn't prepared to take on the obligations inherent to an LTR. LTRs require a counterintuitive balance between loyalty and stone cold reciprocity. For me it makes them untenable eventually.

At this point your attitude towards your height is actually your biggest problem. There are guys confined to wheelchairs who still get girlfriends. As others have stated, girls probably sense that you're jaded, and that negativity (yes, in combination with the height) will drive them away. Change your attitude and change your world. Also you're already ripped apparently. You've got the hardest part down already.

Small town dude here. Everything is pretty spot on EXCEPT the part about not being able to spin multiple plates. It is trickier and riskier for sure, but it can be done. Also, I don't find small town girls push for committment any harder than city girls. To me it seems equally hard wired into both types of girls. Plus, the fast spread of gossip can actually boost your SMV via the perception that you are a hot commodity around town.

This is reminiscent of a common strategy for dealing with depression: challenge your thinking. Your typical person just follows whatever thoughts and emotions pop into their brain, and it doesn't occur to them they that have control over that inner dialogue. That inner dialogue in turn has a huge effect on your mood and behavior. Take control of your inner dialogue and be your own advocate/trainer/friend. This is the mental side of self reliance.

That's a pretty broad concept of mate guarding with the dancing example. At some point, especially when a guy encounters competition while gaming a girl he barely knows, I think it's more a matter of social/physical dominance than mate guarding. On the one hand, I don't have any ethical issues with stepping in a sweeping up a girl someone else is gaming. At the same time, were the shoe on the other foot, I would also not be hasty to confront other men just because they made a move on a girl that…

It's not that sex is all that matters. It's that a woman should be responsible for representing her own interests sexually. If it's made clear that she is having sex with you because she expects a relationship, and you mislead her, then I agree you have done her wrong. Now what I disagree with is that this arrangement is the default tacit agreement between sexual partners. I don't doubt that was at one time. But nowadays, at least with young women, you would be wrong to assume that any one girl …
/r/TheRedPill14/02/17 06:13 PM

She may want a relationship but she also wants sex. What if me and a girl go dancing and I'm hoping for sex after. The girl decides she just wants to dance and then never have sex. By that logic, she "used" me for dancing. But of course, I was a willing participant and had received no promise of sex. Just because you don't get everything you wanted, doesn't mean you didn't get something you wanted. And at the very least it doesn't count as being used.

I don't even buy that a man "plays" a girl by withholding commitment. As soon as you use the phrase "use someone for sex", you've already bought into a narrative (frame) of victimization. Having sex with a girl obligates you to committ to her the same way giving a beer to and making small talk with a person entitles them to endless amounts of your beer and conversation. In both cases, you've given someone some degree of pleasure. The fact that they might quite like more of it does not represent …

That doesn't make me angry at all. If anything I feel bad for the author. She is delusional: men aren't just hesitant to commit to her, they straight up do not want to do it, and probably for good reason. Mr Right isn't out there, lady.

I'd say your typical guy can still realistically acheive 80% of his life goals in our current feminist society. For women, it's maybe 20%. Dismantle monogamy and the family unit and women are really the big losers. It is really pretty sad.

Well I'd say SMV is relative, and in most situations there will never be an open comparison of partner counts. What matters more is perception: if women perceive a man to have access to lots of women, it will increase his SMV. I don't think a woman having a high partner count actually lowers her SMV much at all. It definitely makes her worse marriage material, but at the end of the day, physical attractiveness is still paramount for a woman. And again, it is impossible to really know another per…

Incorrect about homosexuality. Lots of cultures have allowed or even encouraged it in one way or another. Romans and Japanese samurai culture comes to mind. And these were the same societies that produced technological/artistic wonders as well as warriors with absolute balls of steel. The only way homosexuality could really damage society is if it were really a lifestyle choice. Never met a truly straight man yet who's felt tempted to take a dick in the ass.

If you're involved actively in a sport that precludes heavy lifting, then it might make sense to not lift so fanatically. Even then though, you could benefit from supplementary weight work. With the exception of polygamy, every red pill aspect of islam is found in some form in all the major monotheisms. The reason that islam seems unique in that regard nowadays is that the Islamic world has lagged behind the west at least since the enlightenment. Christendom was very red pill a couple hundred years ago. Also, the red pill principles found in abrahamic religions are vastly outweighed by superstitious mumbojumbo.

I think it helps to differentiate between mental and mechanical stimulation. Getting dominated and penetrated is what girls find universally "hot". Both the idea and the act of doing it are arousing. For something like oral though, it is not so the idea of being eaten out, but rather the actual mechanics of it that make it feel physically good while it's happening. You need to please both the mind and body, and oral is uniquely pleasing to the body.

This is why guy need to be as realistic with women as you have to be with money. Buying a house would be great, but until you have the money, make due with renting. It is kind of wierd, now that I think about it, how people notice patterns in how people tend to change as they reach certain ages, and then they turn around and dictate that everyone ought to be adopting certain lifestyles at a certain age. Yeah most 35 year olds don't party all the time, but to rag on somebody for doing it; there must be some underlying insecurity there. There is no roadmap for life.

Ya know feminists should really get involved in criminology, I think they would revolutionize the field. The problem that we have a culture that promotes crime. The police just need to convince everyone that bad things are bad, and then crime will stop. Can't believe we didn't think of that earlier.

That's a good observation. Another way of framing that is in terms of social proof: Guys connected through mutual friends have clear social value. Guys in bars are presumably there because they don't have a woman at home ( = lower value). And guys met incidentally during the day somewhere don't let on to their social value either way, and so a girl can project desirable traits onto him if there is physical attraction.

The other day I briefly made small talk with this woman who had a sweet, empathetic demeanor. She was not good looking, probably below average. But after we parted ways, I noticed that I felt physically very relaxed. Feminine energy I suppose.

You know, I also struggle with trying to lure my friends to the dark side for their own benefit. If it were a younger sibling or a kid, you could easily indoctrinate them with your wisdom. But you can't force an adult to undergo that transition to a new mindset. If you think it's really dire, you might just try being brutally honest. Call him out gently on being a mindless pussy, and then highlight his strengths and invite him to join you on a journey of self improvement and personal empowerment…

I definitely get you what mean, although I do think the online dating scene makes women even that much more boring than they would be in person. I haven't gotten laid in months. When it comes down to it, interacting with boring girls is so tedious, it has really started to outweigh the benefits of sleeping with them. You put in more energy than it's worth.

We hear all this complaining about "standards," but those standards are completely self-imposed by insecure people. No one, man or woman, is being held to body standards in any tangible way. That's why everyone's so fucking fat. It's a classic example of pop-feminism embracing mental illness.

This is why I cringe when TRP is referred to as a "men's rights" group. Political activism is mostly a waste of time; especially if it's on behalf of men; and especially if those men have basically zero status or influence. It is doomed eternally to be a fringe movement.

Yeah I think the nice guy/asshole dichotomy is sometimes a self-serving explanation from guys who aren't getting the sex they want. It kind of implies that there's a spectrum, with sex on one end and moral superiority on the other. So if you conceptualize it like that, it makes it sort of a win no matter where you are on the spectrum. In reality, it is possible and common to be weak, sexless, miserable, and morally corrupt.

Pretty incredible that satisfying your husband's sexual appetite is no longer considered one of a wife's marital duties. That has always been part of what makes marriage a cornerstone of our society, because it gave the vast majority of men an incentive to live productive lives and contribute to their communities. The way I see it, the choice between marrying or not marrying is not even a real dilemma. That's because marriage, in the sense that it founds a permanent family unit upon which civili…

The whole kids and marriage vs empty hedonism choice is a false dichotomy. You can live a fulfilling life, contribute to your family/community, and even mentor kids without having them yourself. A lot of guys would love to lead a traditional family-man life, but certain factors have made it unrealistic and risky; not only risky to oneself, but to the well being of the children.

I have a theory about time spent at the gym. People who don't workout rationalize being out of shape by claiming that it would require an inordinate amount of time in the gym. I bet they think that because some guys who do go to the gym spend a lot of time hanging out and talking with their buddies. Then their out of shape friends hear that they were at the gym for 3 hours and assume they were working out that whole time. No, it doesn't have much to do with being drunk while having sex. Although I would add that alcohol can desensitize you and make sex less enjoyable. It just sounds like you drink frequently. There's not really a hard and fast rule about drinking "too much". But if you're drinking to intoxication multiple times per week, then you'll want to reduce your intake eventually. When I went away to college I drank shit ton and didn't really notice much of a problem. After I got a bit older, I found that …

My experience has been that people who actively practice a religion in industrialized nations are usually naive, mentally ill, or both. You might be an alcoholic, bud. But whether or not you are technically dependent on the booze, drinking that much is gaurenteed exacerbating your unhappiness, if not causing it outright. I hear women talk about old couples and how they want to have a relationship/marriage like that. Truth is, while men's mindset hasn't changed all that much, women are raised with completely different expectations and aspirations about life than back then. There is huge social and financial pressure to not take on a traditional mother/homemaker role. And even if a woman does try out that lifestyle, there is very little in the way of social ostracism to keep her in that role. A lot of old couples …

Everyone has emotions, no use denying it. Much healthier to embrace it. The key is to manage them. Don't just cry where ever and whenever. But if you gotta cry, you gotta deflate and get it out at some point. Crying helps re-stabilize your emotions and gets you mentally back on track. Suppressing emotions for too long is like going a month without taking a shit. Good luck with that.

The only time one of my relationships came to blows was when I was being drunk and belligerent in public and my girlfriend at the time slapped me pretty hard. I have several mutual friends with a raging lesbian. Apparently she only dates women, but she fucks dudes on the side all the time. She also gets drunk and beats up her girlfriends. I suspect she isnt really a lesbian, but is damaged and likes dating people she is stronger and more aggressive than, so it's gotta be a woman. Probably a lot of "lesbians" are just psychologically damaged straight women or hipsters trying on an alternative trendy sexuality.

I agree with a lot of your post, but not the part about having sex for love. I don't think people ever really fucked for love to begin with. I find cigarette smoking to be a really ironic example of something considered cool and tough, because it actually makes you sickly and weak. I'm glad it's mostly out of fashion in the states. In Europe, smoking is still really popular and is sort of a handy pretense for socializing with others. Lots of dudes with faggy haircuts who smell like shit and kill themselves slowly with tobacco. I'm not balding yet, but I buzz my head about once a year. It keeps you cool in summer, and in winter the hats feel even cozier on your scalp. People who know you will be unsure about it at first, but that's with any change. At the end of the day, buzz cuts/shaved heads are associated with aggression and masculinity. It's a solid choice for most any guy IMO.

The Instagram thing is disingenuous. Those posts about you being her "rock" aren't an expression of gratitude to you. Women do that to extract validation from people online. I think once you've reached your initial fitness goals and started again reaping the benefits of being in shape, it will be easier to ditch the bitterness. I find it sort of heartbreaking to see fat guys in their 20's. Here they are in the physical prime of their life, and they are completely neglecting their fitness potential. Most guys, even if they don't workout, toy with idea of getting in shape. That project only gets harder to dive into the older they get. They just wait till they're 30 and then the age-related excuses start "Well It's ok that I'm out of shape now that I'm an old man."
