1	Dating older men? As an older man, I am unlikely to write you off because of your age. To be honest I'm probably dating you partly because of your age. I'm probably offering you the benefit of my maturity and experience in return for you providing a breath of fresh air and excitement into mine. If you do have a long term relationship, do try and make sure you don't get in the way of his relationship with any children he has. 1	Age gap and legal age of consent question:A guy (19) is dating a girl (16). Is this bad? Why or why not?? It really depends where you are. If you're in Europe there are only 5 small states with an age of consent greater than 16, so legally you are highly unlikely to have a problem. In the USA about 30 states have 16 so no problem there either. The remaining states have 17 or 18 so you could have a problem, but must have close in age exemptions making your relationship legal.
