This is one of the most motivational things I've ever read, it meant a lot to me being a "musician"/"songwriter"/"guitarist". Yeah, the quote marks are there for a reason. I struggle with writer's block a lot, and it takes me a long time to come up with anything that I'm happy with. I just picked up the guitar and came up with a new riff more or less instantly. Feels good, man.

Just posting to contribute to the storm of "you weren't shot down in flames and actually did a good job" posts.

What an inspirational story. When I looked at the video, it started 20 minutes in.. know why? Because I'd started watching it about a month ago and haven't gotten around to finishing it! It's amazing how much simple yet effective shit is in that first twenty minutes. I picked up the "how have you been?" thing from this video.

Night clubs are the best environments for people that are able to seduce on a pure physical level (being attractive, dancing, body language). They're not great for folks like me that prefer conversations. If you love dancing, your game should be thriving in night clubs.

And if they say something like "Is that your line?" there are many ways to react to it.

I'm not overly experienced in the game, but I'd have simply gone over there, initiated a bit of friendly conversation with the group as a whole, then put the suggestion out there that they join our table. At some point I'd mention what we're doing afterwards, or find out what they're doing afterwards and incorporate what we're doing into it. If you're scared of making a dick of yourself, you need to learn /r/howtonotgiveafuck. It's better than doing nothing.

It's not any one thing. Aside from /r/seduction, I think /r/howtonotgiveafuck and /r/NoFap have been the biggest influences on me.

Absolutely. It's usually the techniques that I'd forgotten to do the previous time. I'd be somewhere else and then I'd replay the interaction in my head and think "DAMN! I should have done/said _____!". But it doesn't really matter because it helps me remember for the next interaction I have, by which time I can perform quite naturally, without thinking.

I'm currently deleting numbers belonging to gross/bitchy/boring girls. This is kinda nutty.

I did #7 by myself today on a whim. I've never done it before. I got three numbers. Girls that work retail seem to all have boyfriends, or so they claim.

That's impressive, I like that you weren't over-the-top, it sounds like it came across quite naturally, and of course confidently. It goes to show how important the basics are. Thanks for bolding the key parts too, it's always helpful in these posts.

I'm the complete opposite.

Totally. It could be a good way to get playful with a girl you're talking to, getting her to try them on because they'll obviously made for her. I wouldn't know about the club thing, it's been a while since I've been to one. I was at the pharmacy today and I was looking through their selection of sunglasses, the exact same style (different colour and no patterns, though) cost 30 bucks and I bought them for 7, ha.

I guess you have to ask yourself what you want out of learning this stuff.

I have to preface this with a warning that I'm a beginner at this sort of shit, so my opinion is definitely to be taken with a grain of salt. I think the best kind of peacocking is when you wear something that is true to you and your own style, or else it comes across as extremely contrived. I watched the documentary DiG! a few years ago and I loved the funky and odd sunglasses everyone was almost constantly wearing, especially the big bug-eyed ones in garish colours. I've never really liked wea…

I was recommended "The Power of Now" when I was suicidal and depressed. I'll definitely read it now.

remember the golden rule guys : WOMEN WANT GUYS OTHER WOMEN WANT when you are gimmicky you are basically shouting " no women wants me so i am now desperately resorting to this gimmick" I don't know if I should read any further.. because that is the most solid advice I have ever read on this subject, anywhere.

It's also kind of an insult to people that actually play guitar.

I wish comments like this got more attention on Seddit. It is so easy to do something like this rather than try and say/do things that are more likely to come off as contrived. I like how anyone can do this, it's so natural and so blatantly obvious. Maybe so many people are trying gimmicky shit so much that it's now more outstanding to just be normal.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
