Yup got a lawyer. I’m in Canada so I’m pretty sure I have to be separated a year before filling. We’re renting a house. My wonderful landlord working on a new lease that just states me and my boys live there. Also in Canada if they are able bodied and capable of working. Spousal support goes way way down. So just making sure my ducks are all in a row. Counselor is the next step

Yup. I’m not as shell shocked now. Also I learned because she’s a horrible spouse doesn’t make her a horrible mother. I should specify that my son found texts for who his mother was meeting. Nothing more but still it has to be dis jarring for him.

Agree in my grandparents day grandma couldn’t divorce grandpa. If they could have the no fault divorce that we have now. Lots of grandmas and grandpas would have been divorced.

At that point you were already separated on the road to divorce. So yeah of course she’s going to do a hoe phase. They all do. The secret is to not to a fuck. Just focus on you and make sure if you have kids. Make sure they are well adjusted.

So let me get this straight she cheated on you. With this guy and she’s complaining to you about him cheating on her. How did you not smile at the irony? Learn the phrase not my circus not my monkeys. My reaction would be have been so what do you want me to do? Keep the kids longer? if that’s not flexible because of what’s in the agreement. Then have the kids back on time and pull out and keep saying to yourself not my circus not my monkeys.

Isn’t funny how many of them say their exe was a narcissist. Like jeez if all your exes are narcissists maybe they are not the problem?

Way to go man. Forgiveness is for yourself. You can’t live in happiness without forgiveness. Not forgiving is bitterness and it’s like drinking poison. You’ll miss new opportunities to be happy if you are bitter.

That's awesome advice where I am in Canada you have to be separated for a year before you file for divorce. That's going to come in handy for the next two years. I've only been separated a month and a half.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
